This started life as a MIDI file called SMW_Ending_and_Credits.mid via an uncredited, anonymous transcriber/arranger at VGMusic.com. I turned that file into this audio with a few virtual instruments and assorted plugins. I had a good time developing each segment of this track. It started life as some mimicry of a silly joke track for about a minute and a half, then turned into a halfway decent lo-fi joint that you can throw on in the background. The 'conversation' between the two melody instruments towards the end was pretty fun to make.

MIDI GUITAR SOLO? It's not so much a song as a nice downtempo exploration of software working the way I wanted it to. I figured out how to route MIDI out from the Maschine software into my DAW, so I could use all the nice features on the hardware like scales and modes, instead of using Maschine as the DAW. Then I got a little sidetracked when I put Omnisphere as the next plugin in the chain after Maschine. Sounds kinda electric guitar-ish and I tried not to do anything not reasonably possible on a guitar.
