Lost In Music

Danny Bar, a born New Yorker, delved into electronic music by walking into the record store every day after school and listening the latest compilation CD’s of (Erick Morillo & DJ Skribble). He Initially developed an ear through the studies of music theory and piano at the age of 8. Erick Morillo was an idol. Danny and Erick crossed paths when he was 17, a friendship that continued on and a mentorship was cultivated. In 2007 Danny began to DJ publicly alongside well recognized adept’s, Erick Morillo, Luciano, Behrouz, and Lee Burridge (to name a few) and has held residencies in some of the most respected venues across the globe. He develops and produces a unique style of music that blends the deep, melodic and tech house genres. In October 2017 Danny was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and was forced to stop playing after he lost his mobility and sense of feel. He put all his energy in to physical therapy and holistic treatments throughout the first half of 2018, returning to the stage at Marquee in NYC playing alongside Erick Morillo. He continued to work hard at being able to be in control of his health and in 2019 Danny was invited to play a private birthday party for one of his biggest fans in Santiago De Chile, Chile playing a consecutive 48 hour set.
