2021 saw the launch of our free download series, as Joe Vanditti turned out an incredible edit of world-renowned Hip-Hop artist SAINt JHN’s ‘Borders’ (feat. Lenny Kravitz). 2022 aims to continue with impressive momentum as we welcome German producer and TILT resident Mario Daic to the stage.

Mario’s take on Ricardo Villalobos & Mari Kvien Brunvoll’s ‘Everywhere You Go’ has already started to grab the attention of some of the industry’s biggest hitters, including Marco Carola and Luciano - who have both played the track several times in their sets.

Diving straight into a ricocheting flurry of drums and percussive flair, Mario’s edit blends plenty of that signature NoZzo rolling sound with Vilallobos’ celebrated nonconformist approach to music production. Weighty kick sequences, swirling instrumental layers & hypnotic vocal arrangements are just some of the things you’ll find in this endlessly captivating dancefloor pleaser.

Jamie Jones, the world-renowned DJ/producer, label boss of seminal imprint Hot Creations and member of the cross-genre band Hot Natured, launches a new label project this March as he adds a musical side to his longstanding Paradise event series by welcoming Los Angeles’ Dateless for the imprint’s first release.

Building on the lauded success of the brand’s iconic Ibiza events at DC10 and Amnesia, plus shows across the globe and throughout Miami Music Week, ADE and Sonar OFF Week, the label looks set to showcase Jones’ early musical influences and the music behind the party’s roots, while unveiling a glimpse into its future with records made for iconic moments.

Speaking on the concept, Jones notes, “People sometimes ask me why I called the Paradise parties, Paradise… Well, it was named after the Paradise Garage. I’ve always dreamt of what it would be like to attend one of Larry Levan’s famous parties. And when the opportunity to do a party in Ibiza came along, I envisioned an eclectic, colourful party as the morning sun came up filled with different types of people. No one caring about anything except for the unity, the vibe and the journey of the music”.

He adds, “With Paradise records, I wanted to go back to the original vision and release records that can be played in those special moments when the vibe is thick, and the energy is right”.

The first release comes from rising US talent Dateless, following releases via Jones’ own Hot Creations and Hottrax imprints alongside Solid Grooves, VIVa, Saved and his own label Thanks For Sending, as he unveils the vibrant sounds of ‘Geekin’.

‘Geekin’ (my story in a nutshell, if you will) comes from the feeling of necessity. I found myself unmoved by the general house scene, so I started listening closer than ever to the house music that still moved me. One of the artists that helped elevate my craft at the time was Toman; maybe we’ll be friends after this. What do you think, Toman!? Haha. I’m sure those who know me can feel my personality come out in this record. Whatchu know ‘bout this? Huh!” - Dateless.

A funk-fuelled cut combining resonant bass licks, shuffling organic drums and signature hooky vocals, ‘Geekin’ unveils a melting pot of house and disco influences, both new and old, providing visions of sun-soaked terraces and bustling dancefloors.

Crosstown Rebels sub-label Rebellion welcomes back Toronto-based DJ/producer Mustafa  Ismaeel for his ‘Groove You’ EP, featuring collaborations with Dilby and Enamour.  

Iraqi-born Canadian artist Mustafa Ismaeel has been a vital part of the Toronto underground scene and is now  sharing his music and energy across the globe. Releasing on contemporary labels such as The Soundgarden,  Steyoyoke and Manual, as well as Damian Lazarus’ Rebellion, his musical output aims to constantly redefine his  musical boundaries, with groove and emotion as the key to his material. Returning to the label following his recent  appearance at Get Lost during MMW, he serves up a trio of considered and cultured house records across his  ‘Groove You’ EP, featuring a pair of classy first-time collaborations. 

“With this release I tried to focus on the groove while conveying emotions in a subtle manner. I followed a  more intuitive and practical approach with tracks that simply work on the dancefloor. Collaborating with  Enamour, Dilby and the vocalist Shar has been a real treat as we had an effortless understanding of each  other’s vision.” - Mustafa Ismaeel. 

The EP opens with solo production and title cut ‘Groove You’, a seven-minute roller with gritty claps and  percussion over rich bass designs. Add warm, swirling pads and a hypnotic lead synth next to the steamy vocals,  and you have an emotionally intense cut. 

Next comes the first collaboration with Dilby, a tastemaker with releases on labels like 8Bit, Saved and Bondage  Music. Together they cook up ‘Twisted Mind’ featuring Shar, a deep house sound with supple drums and bass  underneath emotive vocals that bring the soul to this heads-down groove. Closing the EP is ‘Nothingness’  alongside LA-based talent Enamour, whose dynamic and powerful sound has taken him to labels such as Last  Night On Earth, Get Physical Music and Factory 93. Their collaboration is a brilliantly chunky mid-tempo house  groove with sensuous sax motifs, lush chords and muttered vocals, bringing a sense of late-night intimacy.

“I can remember the first time I played a 60 minute set, I played my heart out!!…my hands shook! That’s how nervous I was”. DJ Danny Baran shows us raw emotion…through his inapprehensive recollections. This is what the heart of a true artist sounds like…both his words and his mixes match his passion. When making tracks he expresses himself emotionally, everyone has a story, listen closely and you’ll hear his.
DJ Danny Baran started out playing in NJ clubs called CoCo Bongo, XL Lounge, and Dolce. From here he then built up a following and proceeded to land his first NYC gig at Guesthouse, where that’s nights set had the place filled. Another of my favorite nights was moved to Home, gypsy Tea, and Plum, (after hours), Pacha basement, then to date, the biggest venue, which he has played M2 ( the old Crow Bar, then Mansion). That night I opened up for The Camel Rider, where there were about 2,000 people. The lights, the20lasers, sound system, it was the best night in my career….period.



Now working in the studio with two DJ/producers, Skizbot and DJ Dev Bhandari….there will be a few remixes out soon and a show over seas as well. I have to say” of all the places I have played, NYC is the Mecca of House Music, this is where it all began, so playing for an NYC crowd is the most fun and the love they exude in return is amazing…..


I asked DJ Danny” If your music could20speak, what do you think it would say?” He replied, “TURN ME UP LOUDER”….music gives people the ability to connect, it provides and escape from reality, when I play and hear it, I don’t have a care in the world. My Music makes me complete, my family and friends, without them I’d have no reason to play, THEIR feedback…..the CROWDS feedback is what I live for…….DJ Danny’s Baran’s music is the Air in which our souls need to breathe…..……………..
