Darktek est un artiste français originaire de Normandie, inspiré depuis le début par la culture « web » et mêlant mélodies envoûtantes et humour déjanté ! Ayant débuté dans la scène Free Party et composant depuis 2007, il surfe sur tous les styles mais est devenu définitivement célèbre pour ses morceaux hardtek/tribecore.

Il aime mélanger les styles dans ses productions et les saupoudrer d'electro chill, de breaks neurofunk ou de screech rawstyle. En 2015, il lance avec son ami Mimaniac le side-project « FAKE » positionné exclusivement sur le hardcore, revenant à ses racines !

Darktek a sorti son 4ème album « Bass Bomb » en 2020. Dans cet album, il mélange de nombreux styles différents dont bien sûr le hardtek mais aussi le hardcore, la trance ou le rawstyle. S'éloignant légèrement des samples humoristiques francophones qui caractérisaient ses précédentes productions, il se concentre désormais sur les mélodies, la fluidité et l'efficacité.

Lors de la sortie de cet album, Darktek a également mis à jour son set live, qui est un mélange très énergique de ses derniers morceaux et de certains de ses vieux classiques.

Darktek is a french artist, inspired since the beginning by the “web” culture and mixing bewitching melodies and off your rocket humour! Having started in the Free Party scene and composing since 2007, he surfs on all different styles but got definitely famous for his hardtek/tribecore tracks.

He likes to mix styles in his productions and sprinkle them with electro chill, neurofunk breaks or screech rawstyle bits. In 2015, he launched with his friend Mimaniac the side-project “FAKE” positioned exclusively hardcore, coming back to his roots!

Darktek released his 4th album “Bass Bomb” in 2020. In this album he blends many different styles including of course hardtek but also hardcore, trance or rawstyle. Slightly moving away from the French-spoken humorous samples that were characteristic of his previous productions and is now focusing on melodies, flow and efficiency.

When releasing this album, Darktek also updated is live set, which is a very energetic mix of his latest tracks and some of his old classics.
