On clôture ce mois de mars en beauté avec notre 67ème podcast et pour l’occasion nous sommes fiers de recevoir gboi, figure emblématique du 69 qui joue aussi un rôle essentiel au sein de la scène électronique française depuis plus d’une dizaine d'années maintenant.

DJ polyvalent et digger passionné, c’est d’abord aux côtés de Jean Mi et en tant que fondateur de la communauté Chineurs de House (et de ses sous-genres) que l’histoire commence. Aujourd’hui manager de plusieurs labels comme Comic Sans Records (post-club), MAGMA196 (hip-hop), Silure Albinos Fishing Club (ambient) ou encore l’excellent Bad Tips (multigenre), dj résident au sein du collectif 2SIK et directeur artistique sur Underscope œuvrant a donner une meilleure visibilité aux artistes et aux labels français, cet hyperactif a multiplié les casquettes au fil des années. 

Avec le temps, gboi a aussi renforcé son univers artistique afin d’obtenir une signature musicale qui lui est propre, naviguant méthodiquement entre club music, afro et techno. En témoignent ses passages au Positive Education ou plus récemment sur Rinse France, gboi aime s’affranchir des codes, offrant ainsi une expérience sans-frontières qui laisse assurément des traces.

Pour ce podcast il a opéré un travail de fusion comme il en a l'habitude avec un set éclectique garni de pépites, très fortement infusé de vibes afro-caribéennes tout en mêlant bass & techno. Bon appétit l’équipe 🌯

For me personally this one is about spiritual growth and transformation. Breaking negative cycles, releasing old emotional baggage and leading to greater awareness and freedom.

This track is again built in combination of acoustic recordings, electronic soundscapes, deep bass lines and dance beats. In a moderately fast tempo, 115 bpm.
