Rob EJ - Cruising

Its been two years since i have done a mix of my favourite Trance tracks. Way too long. I've collected so many must have tunes that i had to be really brutal and cut a lot of them from the mix. So this really is the cream of the crop from the last few years. 

Its Luminosity beach festival this week so i decided to call it Trancy McLumi Face to mark the occasion and to fit with the rest of my trance series.

DJ, pianist, promoter, and electronic music enthusiast alike, Dean E’s journey began on the dance floor listening to bangin’ Trance at an early age of 20

When not performing, he regularly finds musical inspiration from the surroundings of his small outback village, which holds an impressive record for the UK’s biggest LSD drugs bust… aided by this, and relentless piano lessons from an early age, musical influence was certain.

Having spent many years on the dance floor, it was only a matter of time this would evolve into the booth. Locking himself away for a year, with two CDJ’s and a DJM-800 plus £4 worth of mollies to survive on.. Dean E then emerged in 2008. Winning a global competition tearing Pioneers DJM a new one, landed himself in DJ Mag instantly. A residency then resulted with Bazooka. Warming up for the likes of Andy Farley, Daniel Billy bunter and other big names! Also a finalist in the 2010 Pioneer King Of The Decks UK. Much time was spent in the studio working with producers along this journey - with his passion for fast-paced energy fuelled tracks. Radio 1 play with Breakout Da 808 resulted. Multiple No.1 selling tracks. With a Hard Dance and Bounce collection known globally…

For him it’s all about energizing the crowd, and keeping them on the edge for more with fast paced creative mixing. And of course.. Having fucking good time out there on the ‘floor!

Also in 2010 I won the Wrexham King Of The Decks 2010 venue DJ comp, where I progressed through to the Regional Finals at Oceana, Nottingham - Coming second (Only Hard Dance DJ! which I'm proud of!).
