Volume 5 :  From 1:00:15 to end of the mix

This last volume includes a "taste" of the various flavors of other traditional music/roots of Cabo Verde('às raízes musicais' de Cabo Verde - Batuku, Mazurka, Tabanka, Talaia Baxo, & Morna) to go along with more Coladera/Colazouk :-)) . This is my "brief virtual tour" as it were of CV music through my eyes. This last volume includes a BONUS final section of some of the legends (after the Morna section). This mix is for both dancing and listening.  Funana is in Volume 2; so I didn't cover it here. 
As with other volumes in this series, I have tried to highlight as many of the CV artists/groups I could, while also giving credit to a lot of the local artists in New England.  I weaved in songs from the past and those released in the last few years, mixing in some of the 'best songs', along with hidden gems and some of my personal favorites. I gave tribute to most of the legendary singers/groups in all 5 volumes.
