Inspired by his international upbringing and love for afro-centric world music, Joseph's two track EP is a reflection of his first appearance in the musical world. With its driving percussion and beautiful melodies, the first track 'Namaba' aims to take the listener on a journey of empowerment and pride in their true authentic self. The second track, 'Maré', is a mid-tempo piece driven by haunting chords and soulful vocals. Intended to guide the listener through a journey of hope and beauty via the medium of sound, it speaks to the power and hope for what lies ahead. Hot on the heels of his official remix for Nico Morano’s ‘100 Miles’ at the end of January, Berlin-based producer Re.You continues his abundant run of studio output with the announcement of his brand new single ‘Lose Myself’. Teaming up with renowned Moroccan producers NDRK and Yacine Dessouki – frequent collaborators who recently released their ‘Move’ EP on Re.You’s LSF21+ imprint – the single marks the debut co-production between all three artists and drops alongside an delectable remix from Tel-Aviv based producer Sean Doron. 
 
Released on Luca Saporito’s Ibiza-based label, Super Sapiens, ‘Lose Myself’ is a delightfully judged Afro House cut with the sort of slow-burning groove that we’ve come to know and love from all three producers’ catalogue of productions. With over 15 years of experience as a music producer and DJ, Diamond Dealer is one of South Africa’s leading exponents of the Afro scene. He has his own fresh take on the sound having been there since day one and is now exporting it around the world.

Diamond Dealer started off 2023 on a high, collaborating with Afro house sensation Idd Aziz on a track Pete Tong described as “the brilliant 'Peah'” when championing it on the radio. Peah was further supported by Carl Cox, Shimza and many more who
helped it climb to the top of the Afro house charts.

Diamond Dealer released Shine with Roland Clark and Forever Young with Idd Aziz this summer. Pete Tong selected Shine as one of his biggest tracks for Summer 2023 on BBC Radio 1 Dance and it also received big support in Ibiza this season at venues like Ushuaia and Blue Marlin.

Ending 2023 Diamond Dealer drops his remix of Mire featuring the extraordinary vocals for Kenyan Singer Sofiya Nzau.
