The 157th release on Movement Recordings welcomes Jorgio Kioris to the label for a brand new single. The Greek artist and Bloque music founder has had an impressive 2017, highlighted by releases on Asymmetric Recordings, One Of A Kind and Hookah Records. Now as 2018 begins Jorgio steps up for his debut Movement Recordings single entitled 'Linda' alongside remixes from Kastis Torrau and Ziger. 

Long noted for his groovy, dance floor inspired take on progressive house, Jorgio crafts another production bound for club success. A deep, billowing groove sits at the foundation while choppy percussion and vibrant atmospherics steal the air. Smooth chord changes drive the emotional core of the track before a soulful vocal, gentle piano and fuzzed out tones push the narrative to an exhilarating finale. 

The first interpretation is provided by Kastis Torrau who is making his second appearance on the label. The Lithuanian artist first appeared on the Greek imprint in January of 2016 with a remix of 'Intergalactic Summer' by Stas Drive. Now following a successful 2017, complete with a string of Beatport chart hits, Kastis returns to Movement with a stunning interpretation of 'Linda'. With an even greater dance floor sensibility it's swing heavy groove and rhythmic cadence is immediately infectious. The reprocessed vocal adds a ghostly flair while wistful melodies highlight the main break, ultimately setting up a groovy conclusion with tasteful bass modulation. Definitely a great start to 2018 for Kastis.

The second and final interpretation of 'Linda' is provided by Movement Recordings artist Ziger. The Greek producer is making his sixth appearance on the label which follows his remix of 'Marathon' by Tone Depth & Ampish from October of this year. Ziger's pure progressive sound has long been a favourite of Hernan Cattaneo and his remix here looks set for a similar fate. From its galloping groove, spacey effects and enigmatic drum fills there is a lot to like. What's perhaps most compelling is an atmospheric storyboard which takes you closer to the cosmos with a trail of sonic artefacts and mystical melodies leading the charge. A gorgeous remix from Ziger, rounding out what is an excellent offering from Tash's Movement Recordings once again.

'Oriental and pure bliss vibes in this release. Israel based producer Roi Okev, who released a number of quality records via Akbal Music, All Day I Dream and Sudbeat, is carrying his deep sound into 'Deefrica' EP - ethnic, dreamy and opulent with variety of thoughts to dream about. 'Deefrica' reminds of the laidback deep house blended with hypnotizing vocals and warm pads, which are making a light and cloudy mood of the tune. Serbian producer Mass Digital is from the same ground as Roi: the musician with the releases on Lee Burridge's All Day I Dream (as well) and Hoomidas from some to draw. Mass Digital is capturing the pensive mood in the gentle house beat, taking lyric piano path for his remix and bringing the variety for the lovers of deep and organic sound in house music. 'On The Border' is definitely at its' name: the refined and steady groove with properly working low-ends is coming nicely into the calming closing tune. Following much-lauded releases on Bercana Music and Sagraal, Bulgarian artist Diass teams up with Andrea Pellizzari and Matt Sawyer's VillaHangar imprint to release three uplifting original cuts on an EP entitled 'Bloom Together'.

The EP kicks off with the title track 'Bloom Together', which delightfully fuses organic percussion and inviting melodies to create a hypnotic atmosphere before 'Rompom' places focus on pulsating rhythms, shimmering low frequencies and emphatic builds. Rounding off the EP in style is 'Odyssey', an intricate house cut featuring revolving synths, inspiring vocals and floaty modulations with cinematic beauty.

Bulgarian DJ and producer Diass started playing music at the early age of 12. It was this exposure at a young age, which defined his passion and shaped the music he writes today. Diass is one of the few Bulgarian DJs with music education – he has more than 6 years of studying producing, sound and studio engineering.  
Diass has found his unique sound and interpretation on the electronic music scene. He has spent the past 10 years pushing his sound direct from his studio in Sofia to dance floors all around the world. Repeatedly proven his skills behind the CDJs in every notable club and warehouse space in Bulgaria and has toured extensively abroad throughout the last few years, having gigs in Ibiza, London, Luxembourg, Amsterdam, Cairo and Moscow. Diass has already produced three albums - "Party Beach" (2011), "Welcome to Bulgaria" (2013) and "Reset the World" (2015), the last one being released under the world famous 303Lovers imprint. During the years, Diass has been working on collaborations with some of the best Bulgarian vocal performers and has been sharing decks with top artists such as Damian Lazarus, Satori, Jamie Jones, Faithless, Be Svendsen, Unders, Paco Osuna, Serge Devant, Blond:Ish, Hot Since 82 and many more.  
Diass represents a wide variation of sounds across the spectrum from Nu 
Disco / Indie Dance and Electronica/Downtempo to Organic House / Melodic Techno. Artistically innovative and yet easily accessible – Diass` music selection and individual sounding boosts the party fever in your veins. His works have been signed to major labels including: Sol Selectas,  Scorpios Music, Cosmic Awakenings, Bercana Music and many others. During the years, all of Diass’s releases had entered Beatport’s Organic House Top 100 Chart. In 2021, Diass becomes a resident DJ at Scorpios & Noema in Mykonos. This year he is back for another season on the Greek island. 

In May 2022, Diass has launched his own music label KATUN, in co-ownership with Dimo BG & Mr. K – three leading figures at the music scene in Bulgaria, united by their passion for creating, sharing and promoting beautiful and quality electronic music. KATUN Tribe brings together a recording label, event concept and community of like-minded people, who loves storytelling through music.
