Shakti is an industrial techno DJ from Grand Rapids, MI, who fuses genres in ethereally dark territories inspired by goth culture, the underground and her love for metal. An homage to the Sanskrit meaning of the word (force, power, energy) — “Shakti” delivers sonically intricate sets that deliver all of those qualities. She is fiercely passionate about creating awareness in the scene and helping curate safe spaces. Her experience and passion has lead to her launching her own cyberpunk label fusing both her musical and visual skills along with her love for counterculture in May of 2025 called, ERROR!!! 404.

A message from SHAKTI: This mix is made with love and is dedicated to all of the beautiful people that I’ve met in my musical journey thus far in the last year. Last year, I was invited to open for KARUTH at the second RARE111 event and it was the most pivotal show I’ve had as a performer. Since then, I have grown so much and really was able to unleash a style created from the most authentic version of myself. I want to express gratitude to all of the people who have inspired me and uplifted me. Industrial techno is the medium where I feel my spirit is the most free. From 140 - 170 Bpm, I complied all of the favorite tracks I’ve played at shows, as well as tracks by people who I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in a journey of synchronicity through music. Xo.

Brent Shay from South Detroit/Detroit area is an artist deeply rooted in the city's iconic techno and house scene. Influenced by the pulsating beats of Detroit techno and the underground vibes of Berlin techno. With a penchant for dark, banging techno infused with industrial and acid elements, Brent's sets are a sonic exploration of the underground cultures that shape his sound.

As a resident DJ at Fnoob Techno Radio in the UK and Features on Lineout Radio in Paris, Brent's weekly sets showcase his eclectic tastes, ranging from minimal techno to experimental bass.

Though he has yet to officially release his own productions, Brent's focus remains on honing his craft and delivering unforgettable sets that transport listeners to the gritty, industrial landscapes of Detroit's underground scene.
