Deeply involved in dance music and its nightlife for many years, Lennie has always kept his extensive collection alive, offering glimpses of it on special occasions.  Trying to pick up the pieces of the puzzle one record at a time, he glues together the warm je-ne-sais-quoi he finds in jazz, hiphop, dub and funk, and channels it into the red line that fuels his groove-driven sets — leaning on the warmer shades of dub, minimal techno and house, where groove sets the tone and hips and heads follow the pace.  Based in Amsterdam but with firm roots at Arnhem’s now defunct 8bahn , where he began as a resident and went on to program monthly club nights and the occasional festival, he has carried that same spirit of curiosity and community into new contexts. Whether in the booth, behind the scenes, or digging through record bins, Lennie is always in search of something new - or old - to bring his philosophy to life on the dance floor.
