This mix acts as a reminder, to others but mainly to myself, to not take everything so seriously and allow yourself to be silly and fun even in the face of those who are telling you not to be. i try to carry that energy with me at all times and i make sure to sprinkle some of that in my mixes. also i am and always will be a huge fan of the pop edit ( a now diminutive term ), but here i wanted to show that they can be so much more than that ! pop music holds a special place in my heart and i can go on and on about how almost genres of music have been influenced by pop in some way, including how much club culture today is shaped by pop sounds. blending these pop references with the likes of jersey club, hard drums, ballroom, techno and baile funk beats creates a sound that is guaranteed to elevate your club experience."
