This is the first edition of techn053 podcast, a very special edition. On the 24th of april 2021 in corona shutdown, a very close friend of mine invited me for his birthday party in his penthouse on the 10th floor. As ultimate present I gave a more than 4 hours DJ liveset.

DUUSTERE DNS, owner and host for techn053 podcast plays an almost 5 hrs live DJ set, a special all-night long, kicking of with relaxed melodic techno, to rave, early hardcore tunes, and 90’s classics house. An all style DJ set. Why just play only tracks because they are called techno, while there is so much more music to enjoy, in my opinion…… 

So this is the very first edition of techn053 podcast 001.

On nye 2024-2025 a special TECHNO RAVE edition of techn053 podcast. This time we broadcast from an exclusive private house party. The duustere dns mixed for more than 2.5 hours, expect darktechno, darkmelodictechno, ravetechno and hypnotic sounds. Supported by my girlfriend who supplied me with creative candy so I played those tracks precisely for the space explorers.

In the year 2001, DJ DNS (Dennis Wissink) and the Vinyljunk (Michel van den berg) teamed up as 2Junxion. It was on 31 december 2001 on Oldschool Madness vs Hardhouse X-Periments. Each with their own styles of music, they combined their individual skills and 2Junxion was born. In the beginning they were a DJ team, working with four decks and two CD players, fast mixing Acid and Techno. Pretty soon they started to produce their own tracks. 2Junxion released their first tracks on AcidTracks, SynnyS joined as a DJ/Producer and 2Junxion became a resident on AJ Records. A vocalist and visualist were also added and 2Junxion got a new format.

2Junxion is now a formation of audiovisualist making techno/acid and interactive art.

Q-Dance famous QLUBTEMPO concept at Hemkade. I was invited to play as DJ DNS twice, at edition 8 and 14. Too bad there was only one recording, this is my live vinyl set registration, playing Hardstyle and early hardcore sounds.

Dennis has been playing for many years under different names: DJ DNS, DJ Dennis, DJ MEAN and DUUSTERE DNS. Each alias a different style. In the 1980s he started as a HipHop DJ at the famous Bumrush parties of SAT and Blockjam 2000, ‘01 and ‘02, where he discovered Electro, Rap music, and later with acid and mellow house. 

In the early 90’s he was booked for Thunderdome on tour, MegaRave and he worked on various concepts. He became DJ DNS, resident DJ for OldSchool Madness in Metropool and Condor City. He entered a partnership with Vinyl Junk under the name 2Junxion. Together they have produced many tracks for AcidTracks, AJ records and twidl records, resulting in his breakthrough. MysteryLand, QlubTempo, Mayday, NatureOne, GroundZero, MegaRave, Hellraiser, MultiGroove, Ruhr in Love and AcidWars. 

In 2013, he formed with his best friends a new collective, twidl records, and runs event promotions and organization for twidl events. In the near future he will start his own Artist Management Agency: PULSE ARTISTS • dj talent management. More info, duusteredns@gmail.com
