The year was 2007. Sydney nightlife was peaking. I had only just started Dj’ing and was already playing in most of the venues on Oxford St 4 nights a week. I decided to do an after-hours event called TRASHPALACE. It was on the first floor of The Oxford from 4am until 10am every Sunday morning. It proved an instant success and just a few weeks later we started doing it both Saturday and Sunday mornings. Week after week, hundreds of insatiable party people from all over Sydney packed in from wherever they were clubbing to keep on truckin’ on. It was such a mixed crowd of off-chops all sorts that all sorts of mayhem and magic happened.  OH the sights I saw on that dancefloor! This mixset is a flashback to that time and energy of 2007 & ’08. I will be forever grateful for the love I felt from everyone during those early years. Your encouragement propelled me to DJ’ing worldwide! The pandemic has been tough for so many. A year without disco lights and dancing is a nightmare for me, but I am blessed to be home with family.  I hope we can all get fabulous & trashy again soon. I can’t wait to get the green light to party!!!  Until then, keep smiling, keep shining & stay safe.

Pride 2023 Part 1 - Everybody Say Love

Part 2 of my Sunday Daddy Disco set from BUNKER In Washington DC (Aug. 6th, 2k23)... this was honestly a very difficult set for me to play. It followed a celebration of life for a person who was a member of the BUNKER family; he was a new friend in my life... and someone whose wedding I had played just one year earlier. The doors opened to the public at 9 p.m. when many of his closest friends and loved ones were still gathered. It was very difficult for me to find a balance between getting the party going and thinking about trying to honor his memory. I ended the set on a special somewhat somber note, in tribute to him. I'd like to send special love and appreciation through this set to all of my incredible DC family.
