Unglaublich, wir haben die Nummer 50 geknackt! Vor gerade mal zwei Jahren starteten wir unseren hauseigenen Podcast, welcher bis heute ausschliesslich Mixes von Schweizer Künstlerinnen und Künstlern enthält. Dementsprechend möchten wir euch auch zu unserem 50. Jubiläum ein Set eines ganz besonderen Schweizer Künstlers näher ans Herz legen: Vorhang auf für Patrick Podage!

Der Berner Überflieger ist aus der Schweizer Clubszene schon lange nicht mehr wegzudenken. Landauf, landab zieht der 28 jährige Produzent einen Club nachdem anderen in seinen Bann. Doch das ist bei weitem nicht alles. Zu seinen Engagements im Inland kann der Hauptstädter auf unzählige Gigs auf der ganzen Welt zurückblicken, so etwa in China, Russland, Spanien oder vielen weiteren Destinationen. Es gibt praktisch kein Land, in welchem er sein Können noch nicht unter Beweis stellen durfte. Bei einer solchen Flut an Gigs und Auftritten vergisst man schon fast, dass Patrick Podage zudem ein exzellenter Musikproduzent ist. Seine Tracks haben stets diese prägnante Basslinie gepaart mit dem gewissen Etwas. Dazu kommt, dass er sich einen Namen als unermüdlicher Remixer für alle Grössen des internationalen elektronischen Musikbusiness gemacht hat.

Doch wie ist Patrick Podage eigentlich zur Musik gekommen und was hat sich seit seinem letzten Mix für Unsere Beweggründe (Podcast 006) in seiner Musikkarriere so verändert? Wir hatten das Vergnügen mit Patrick Podage über sein Treiben als Musiker zu plaudern…

Mirabils Records jumps into the summer with a fabulous EP form one of Lithuania's finest dj and producer Donatello!
He's back in our camp with a superb two track EP!

The main track 'Traffic' is kicks things off with a building groove and a very catchy bass line until the first breakdown where the warm pads drop in. Then track then strips back to basics but just for a little while before it starts building back to its full groove and leads us to the main break where the old school kinda piano riff drops in and puts a smile on your face and makes u dance till the dawn and more!

"Magic secrets" goes down the same route. Produced with big sound systems in mind with it's punchy groove, pounding bass line, quirky percussion and warm and hypnotic, balearic melodies this one is set to be a biggie on the terrace!

KOLE AUDRO – Lithuanian electronic music samurai Audrew Kolesnikov is no question an artist with experience and future sound in one.
KOLE AUDRO is a longstanding activist in the local electronic music. He has a bachelors degree in Arts & Cultural Management. Spins records on his weekly radio show, also in 2013 won a Burn Residency Baltics competition - from 5000 djs all around the world was selected to top 20 and went to IBIZA. His earliest adventures feeding funky, soulfull and acid sounds that would eventually lead him to the realms of electronic music. A talented and very technical dj, passioned for creating & engeneering sounds. In recent times, his style has taken on yet more verve, with the warmth of the house he has always known and loved now bolstered by a loose techno rhythm and percussive drive. Most of free time he spends in his studio as for now KOLE AUDRO decided to make an album. A growing appreciation for dance music led to a meet creative mind artists from all over the world, with different musical roots and origins and create interesting blends of musical fusion and Metharmorphose. After playing at parties with his new alter ego was to be something that locked his individual musical chemistry and would ultimately lead to the underground sound of KOLE AUDRO. Now his events named KODAS are well know along side Lithuanian clubbers. Such compliments Donatello has been accustomed to hear not only from Lithuania’s progressive house music fans, but also from international DJ guests. “Amounts of enthusiasm and uncontrollable energy exuding from his sets remind me about beginning of my own career. He has EVERY trait needed for a DJ. I mean - an impressive DJ” – claims UK producer Clive Henry (PEACE DIVISION), along whose side Donatello played in club EXIT (Kaunas, Lithuania). Donatello was hand picked to represent the best so far promoters’ agency in Lithuania - ATARI. And ATARI guys don’t joke around: the founder of the agency – best Lithuanian DJ, bearing international recognition Ignas i.v. was lately spotted performing with Nick Warren in Hamburg and playing with The Prodigy in Vilnius. During the past overcrowded months on clubbers’ agendas Donatello became an unofficial resident of the ATARI ORIGINAL nights in club Galaxy, Vilnius. One of the biggest Lithuanian venues was absolutely packed with over 1500 clubbers/ enthusiasts each and every time gagging for more from Satoshi Tomiie (Japan), G Pal & Anna Maria (Greece), Scott Bradford (LEXICON AVENUE,UK), Anthony Pappa (UK), Matthew Roberts (KING UNIQUE, UK) and others.. Donatello never gets an easy get away from the audience; hence he’s been very busy playing in Kaunas club EXIT (awarded as the best club of Lithuania twice). After a few years of professional diversity at the beginning of his DJ path, Donatello has perfected various burning mixtures of tech house, progressive and techno.
