Get Physical welcomes Thomas Gandey and Donatello to the label this March, as the pair prepare to release their latest single, ‘You Don’t Know Me’.

Hailing from Bordeaux, Thomas Gandey is a long standing artist who has gained international recognition for his releases on the likes of Innerversions, Kompakt and Decca; musically the enigmatic producer defies convention in ways many cannot. He has frequently collaborated with Rekids label boss Radio Slave under his Matom moniker and as Last Communication, whilst holding residencies at Space Ibiza, Razzamatazz and Womb in Tokyo.

DJ/ producer Donatello has firmly established himself as a leading name within Lithuania’s house and techno sphere in recent years, performing at Atari Original as an unofficial resident, and releasing notable material via the likes of Skint, Last Night on Earth and Parquet Recordings.

After reaching out to Thomas the pair decided to collaborate together with the result being ‘You Don’t Know Me’ seven minutes of deep and alluring house music. The track effortlessly combines punchy drums with Eastern chord influences, binding the two European artists together in a somewhat mysterious way. Hazy analogue synth lines and subtle percussive flourishes set the tone for ominous effects and captivatingly smokey vocal work on this highly compelling offering.

Following up on their recent original work for Proton Music, Trilucid return to the label with a three-track offering in the shape of "A Moment / Stratos".

A producer duo with a strong and impressive career, Trilucid have been prime movers within the music industry for over 15 years. Coming together as Trilucid in 2009, their performances behind the decks has seen a 5-year residency at Ministry of Sound's Gallery in London, while more than a double century of production credits have shone a light on another aspect of their considerable skillset.

With releases on the likes of the likes of Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Records, Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital and Paul Thomas' UV, Trilucid have operated at the upper echelons of the underground dance industry with a mature and emotive sound. Regulars on Proton Music, a 2019 debut remixing Stas Drive, with erstwhile production partner, Phil Martyn, was quickly followed by the "Glint" original EP later that year. "Astral" followed in mid-2020 before further remixes for Pole Folder, Petar Dundov and Rick Pier O'Neil, while 2022 then saw the release of the emotive twin-track "The Loved Are Never Lost" in July.

Now returning with a further EP, "A Moment" is founded upon a powerful beat and tight groove that revels in dynamic rapid-fire shakers. A smooth bassline enters the fray while immaculate motifs supply easy dancefloor character. Evolving with pad swirls, call/answer melodic phrasing and shimmering arpeggios, Trilucid's club knowledge is in full evidence as the track waxes and wanes with ease across its duration to create an immaculate dancefloor stormer. A stripped back, "Sunrise" version allows the sumptuous melodies to flow unhindered while a strong cadence is created from the grooved bassline and plucked synth lines.

"Stratos" continues the powerful dancefloor character of its predecessor as a woodblock cuts through the percussive top line. A cascading swathe of melodies soon filter into sonic view as keys, pads and arpeggios combine in a delightful collage of sound. Hitting its stride in the second half, a dynamic bass patterns adds club-friendly force as a chorus of stereo-panned effects make their presence felt before a key change sets up a spine-tingling finale full of dancefloor prowess.

Through "A Moment / Stratos", Trilucid ably illustrate their impressive production talent and dancefloor knowledge.

Driving, big basses, deep vibes and great drums are the key words for the original "This Is" track. Mr. Click and co-label founder, Stefano Richetta, debuts on the label in collaboration with label residents Donatello & Arnas D. They just released their "Two Of Us" EP and are now back again with this amazing collab track. We can only conclude that this combination of artists worked out really well.

For the remix we got another Click Records resident back on our label. Gabriel Ananda is back with, what we think, one of his best works to date! Gabriel Ananda has had releases on major labels like Ellum, Traum, Treibstoff, Suara and his very own Basmati label before and keeps delivering quality time after time.
He made a remix in a typical Gabriel Ananda style and gave it a bit more drive then the original with some more atmospheric vibe throughout the track. We simply love this one.

Such compliments Donatello has been accustomed to hear not only from Lithuania’s progressive house music fans, but also from international DJ guests. “Amounts of enthusiasm and uncontrollable energy exuding from his sets remind me about beginning of my own career. He has EVERY trait needed for a DJ. I mean - an impressive DJ” – claims UK producer Clive Henry (PEACE DIVISION), along whose side Donatello played in club EXIT (Kaunas, Lithuania). Donatello was hand picked to represent the best so far promoters’ agency in Lithuania - ATARI. And ATARI guys don’t joke around: the founder of the agency – best Lithuanian DJ, bearing international recognition Ignas i.v. was lately spotted performing with Nick Warren in Hamburg and playing with The Prodigy in Vilnius. During the past overcrowded months on clubbers’ agendas Donatello became an unofficial resident of the ATARI ORIGINAL nights in club Galaxy, Vilnius. One of the biggest Lithuanian venues was absolutely packed with over 1500 clubbers/ enthusiasts each and every time gagging for more from Satoshi Tomiie (Japan), G Pal & Anna Maria (Greece), Scott Bradford (LEXICON AVENUE,UK), Anthony Pappa (UK), Matthew Roberts (KING UNIQUE, UK) and others.. Donatello never gets an easy get away from the audience; hence he’s been very busy playing in Kaunas club EXIT (awarded as the best club of Lithuania twice). After a few years of professional diversity at the beginning of his DJ path, Donatello has perfected various burning mixtures of tech house, progressive and techno.
