Early influenced by Belgian and UK Old School Rave sound, Chris Nexus 6 has been gravitating around the electronic scene since 1995. Co-founder of a weekly electronic show on a local radio station in the suburbs of Paris for more than 10 years, Chris gradually abandoned the Acid/Transcore style of his beginnings in favor of a cold and hard-hitting Electro that he still mixes with passion today.

In parallel with his activities, Chris turned to writing musical chronicles for Atome.com (FR), Electro Alliance (US), or Electric Kingdom (US) blogs. Nowadays, he regularly signs artworks and illustrates record covers for some of his favorite labels: New Flesh Records, Rave Or Die, Zodiak Commune, Shipwrec, or Fundamental Bass Intelligence.

Which artist has influenced you the most?

- There are numerous but in Electro, I would name Anthony Rother. I used to listen to techno, acid and hardcore early in the 90's but when "Sex With The Machines" came out, it has been like a storm for me. Since then, I really changed my style and focused on Electro in its purest form.

Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now?

- Anthony Rother, for sure. He's still on top after all those years of production. I would also recommend my bro Umwelt and his labels (Rave Or Die / New Flesh). A killer for sure. And at the moment I'm really into Ole Mic Odd, Serge Geyzel and FracTal just to name... they all have an incredible sound!!

I was born in 74 in Valencia (Spain).
My musical journey begins in the year 87 when through the radio I start to discover the wonderful musical decade of the 80's and the beginning of electronic music giving way to one of the essential sounds of today such as New beat, Acid house, Ebm, Electro. 
The end of the 80's and the beginning of electronic music were an influence for me. 
Kraftwerk - Afrika Bambaataa - Juan atkins. 
Luis ‘El capitan america’ resident DJ of one of the most emblematic clubs of the city where the youngest people went to enjoy the music (Woody Disco) also contributed a lot to my evolution. 
My professional beginnings started in 1993 working in the record shop Alliance Records located in a central neighbourhood of the city of Valencia. Through the shop I started my first gigs on behalf of the shop playing in big clubs like Industrial in Granada and the mythical discotheque ACTV in Valencia, Tropico (San antonio).
I have collaborated with several Valencian collectives promoting events offering a more electronic and different side.
Sushi Collective - Minimalistik girl - Hypnotica collective
at the beginning of 2000 I started to have my first residencies in Sala Roma (Puzol) through the Shushi collective (a clothing company).
I had my residency in other venues in my city where once a week I used to have my space. 
Pub TERRA, it was there where I met Jesus CTG member and founder of the collective Minimalistik girl and where we started to collaborate together and became part of his collective.
Through the collective I had a more professional opportunity to train where I have been able to perform in several festivals organized by the collective itself and performing in various venues in my city as they were.
Also in the middle of the 2000s I started to be part of the Valencian collective Hypnotica Colectiva (HC) founded by David Verguer and Jorge Moreno.
Performing for them in their anniversaries and standard festivals such as Revelation (techno alliance) - and Happy Mondays, a session in Valencian gulf time par excellence, the nights from Sunday to Monday, remembering how mythical and important were those Sunday night sessions in Valencia in the 90s. 
Through these collectives and other agencies I have had the opportunity to perform in big venues such as Chocolate, Barraca, Jungle (NOD), Puzzle, sharing the bill with artists such as Ellen allien, sascha funke, Pacou, Dave tarrida, miki craven, Claude vonstroke, Monoblock, John digweed, Aubrey, Yin elek. Sound Synthesis.
And national artists like:
Jesus ctg (minimalistik girl/Hypnotica coelctiva) - David Verdeguer (my fight records/ hypnotica coelctiva)  - Phone (subsist records) - Dwachman (Atlas records) - Carlos cmix - Andres Llatas - Jorge zamora - Pedro bol - Edu imbernon - Javi presi - Raul remujo - Cristian G marti - Jose maria aboga - Victor fletcher  - H4l9000.

Faithful listener of Ambient, idm, contemporary, ebm, new beat, darkwave. 
Nowadays I continue my solo career collaborating with (HC) and meeting wonderful people that keep bringing to my life more knowledge and musical pleasures.
