Cafe Amsterdam aka Tattva (DJ Satish) is Tobias Edelberg (USA-Germany)   
History.
- 1982 he played trumpet.
 - 1983 Among other things he played at the Kids Disco from time to time. Using tapes.
 - With 14 he began as a DJ in a German Disco.
-The Year was 1988 and Acid house from London came crashing through. Tobias began mixing vinyl onto tapes. Hip hop also made it's first advances and he became familiar with all the styles. Techno also came creeping out of the Benelux.

With 15 he went to Goa for the first time.

From 1990-94 he was a main player in the Poona-Goa connection organizing parties. Out of this time came the infamous three day party and the thumping Pyramid Parties.

 In 1994 Tobias went to Thailand and it was there that Riktam (part of GMS) and Satish played at the legendary Full Moon party on Ko-Pangann.

He then went back to India and Australia where he played near Byron Bay out in the bush until 1997.
 In 1998 he went back to Germany and hooked up with old friends like Shiva Chandra (Daniel Vernuft) in Hamburg and began getting a taste for studio production. In 1999 he moved near San Francisco and began his first project "The Tantra Vision" using only Reason and DP3.

In 2002 he left America and went back to Europe working on new projects like "The Moment" which was made in Wales using a Mac Mini and Garage band. This was under D-RYTH.
Since switching to Logic Pro Tattva has come alive!
He has since released some tracks and played around the world at festivals like the Vuuv, Full Moon, Omni and Burning Man.
Tobias is Cofounder of I-O Music.
He began making dance music in 2010, this became Tattva.
Since 2025 under own name via Bandcamp #djedelberg
