Just in time for Halloween, Death Decay Magic (@deathdecaymagic) releases Various Artists: Dead Beats 1. This compilation brings together new and returning artists to the label, including Happy707 (@happy707), Stockholm Syndrome AU, Heidi Sabertooth, label boss Black Light Smoke, and more.

Fresh off their recent DDM release “Bodyworxxx”, Happy707 kicks the record off with “Infectious Waste”, featuring tough, punctuates bass tones, slamming EBM drums and choppy vocal samples. Up next is Erika Gluck with “Glass”, a hypnotic techno mind bender with a glassy acid synth arpeggio, morphing for the full eight minutes. Next, new to the label but not to the game, Stockholm Syndrome AU drops “KM-6A” a hard hitting acid classic, complete with saturated drums, 303 line, and quintessential vocal samples.

Up Next is Daniel Holt, who’s return to Death Decay Magic switches up the pace with “Numbers Game”, a melodic coldwave number, layering synth tones and harmonies.Following is label boss Black Light Smoke with 'Maniac', with its italo-like synth line and his signature dark vocal tones piercing through. Another newcomer to the label, Hissarlik brings the heavy, hypnotic techno with 'Change Of State', featuring brain melting synths, steeped in atmosphere and evocative vocal samples that transport one right to Berlin dance floors.

Man 2.0, by now a DDM veteran, brings us on a different turn with “Strangest Kiss”, a fusion of post punk and kraut rock drums and melodies. Rounding things out is Heidi Sabertooth with “Seeing Red”. Already with releases on Lobster Theremin, BPitch Control, New York Haunted and more, she joins Death Decay Magic with this fiery track, melding a driving lead line, broken beats, and otherworldly melodies and pads.

What's in a name? Well, when you decide to call yourself Acid Bitchez, quite a lot. Harking back to a simpler time, when Chicago ruled the roost, the freshly formed duo of Juha Johnny (who eagle eared readers may remember as as one of the black-tie wearing 303-knob twiddlers in Jori Hulkkonen's Acid Symphony Orchestra) and "lyrical miracle" Jessika have made the most auspicious of debuts, landing on Tiga's Turbo imprint to take us on an acid trip of epic proportions.

Titled 'Thinking About Acid' (we're starting to notice a theme here...) their debut record has seen the label draft in fellow acid enthusiasts - the music not the drug - on remix duties with Jori Hulkkonen, General Ludd, Zia and Joeski all brought in to reshape the cut in their own image. Our pick of the bunch? Well that'd have to be Finnish super-producer Jori Hulkkonen's 303 drenched rework which we have the pleasure of unveiling today.

Djedjotronic joins Nitzer Ebb’s vocalist Douglas McCarthy for a new, 1-track collaborative EP on Boysnoize Records.

“Take Me Down” is a hard-hitting EBM monster anticipating Djedjotronic’s forthcoming debut album. Rolling metal-made arpeggiators punctuate Douglas’ dehumanized, screaming vocal cuts. Severe surveillance warnings echo among the walls of an industrial district. Order and law nullifies the individual in a never-ending 4/4 march, in the religious veneration of the God rhythm.

Having known Jensen for some time now it was more then appropriate to have him join us in the steam room and turn some gears. The result? 5 dance ready pieces from the future, delivered to us in the past and ready for you now. This is PS006 - Jensen Interceptor ’s Delayed Response

Gear 1, Route E - Headlights, check….tailgates, check…engine oil….CHECK. Some serious low slung BPM machine funk with a few twists and turns. Gear 2, Delayed Response feat Kirin J Callinan on Guitar/ Freak out duties - Jensen ramps it up a notch with wild guitar lines from Kirin soar through the motorik groove and hey, Delayed Response might be exactly the reaction we expect.

On the B side we have Emulator, taken right from the era of the E-MU SP machine. The heart ripped right out, implanted and transformed into a sweat induced body music work out. Gear 4, Tunnel Chase takes us in to some Front 242 / Tyranny For you mutated breaks territory. Mechanical rhythms push and thrust alongside the main sequence all but guided by a vocal pad of whom? The voice of your mother through distant memory? And finale’ Saudade - a dark wave / electro piece highlighting the origins/ inspirations of his mission. Jensen might be trying to tell us something about the future.

Tel Aviv born, Berlin based duo TV.OUT @tv_out make their Dark Entries debut with a 6-track EP titled ‘Dusk Till Dawn’ out Black Friday 2019. Doron Mastey Charly & Ori Itshaki have made a name for themselves the past few years putting on impressive live sets, DJing around the world, and running Parallax Records releasing various strains of rugged, well informed electronic music. Clocking in at 36 minutes this collection moves in hot pursuit of their two previous EPs for L.I.E.S. Side A opens with the metallic hi-hats of “Morning Light” that echoes early Euro/Goa techno-EBM sound to the 8-minute sleek, pounding industrial darkroom vibes of “Sun” and closes with the titanium-tipped 808 warped electro of “War Zone”. Side B leads off with the heavy New Beat scorcher  “Lord”, a song we first heard on a mix from Cardopusher and knew we had to release. Then comes “Product Of My Environment” a slow-motion mutant menace that flows into the final song “Slippery Slope” a classic  West Coast of The Hague ‘90s style electro  perfectly suited for complete dance floor drama. All songs have been mastered by George Horn at Fantasy Studios in Berkeley. The vinyl comes housed in jacket designed by Eloise Leigh with black-white-red apocalyptic vibes and bold type.
