This fourth release is a special collab release. The first track Petter B has joined forces with two producers from his hometown Gothenburg. John H and M.E.E.O have been part of the Swedish underground scene since they learned how to spell 303 and are both addicted to hardware gear. With their skillful crafting of the melodic parts and Petters feel for drums and arrangement this track was born. It is a melodic monster with a simple yet effective arrangement. 

On the flip side there are two tracks made by Stockholm based producer Kimono. A familiar name to those fond of that Stockholm sound. He has done releases on famous labels such as H-Productions, ISL and BEK Audio. These two tracks are best described as tooly and effective weapons to be used and abused by any DJ wanting to spice up the mix. The two tracks made it in to Petter Bs crate immediately as demos. From that point they went through the same refinement process as his own tracks usually experience. Tweaking the sound and doing some fine tuning after testing it in his sets, something that has become known as "that bond treatment".

The label Bond is the brainchild of Swedish techno DJ and producer Petter B. The concept of the label is “music by DJs for DJs”. The label focuses on releasing tracks that enable the DJ, rather than the producer, to be creative. It is based on that special bond which is created every time a DJ combines tracks, loops and sounds live into something new and unique.

We Are The Brave hit their 100th release courtesy of label founder, DJ/producer Alan Fitzpatrick, with ‘Aura/Distance'.

Once a regular mainstay on Radio Slave and James Master's Rekids, the last four years have seen Spencer Parker concentrate his productions on his own label Work Them, whilst also releasing a furore of music from artists such as S:VT, Young Male and Dana Ruh. This however changes later on this month with Parker returning to Rekids for a four track EP titled No More Silly Club Songs. As the name suggests the record sees Parker adopting some straight forward dance floor business. Parker himself says “This EP is simply a collection of tracks I made around 18 months ago for my own sets. No concept, no bullshit, just some tracks to WORK the club.” His tour schedule is as busy as ever and you only have to watch a set like his Boilerroom and listen to this exclusive premiere of No.3 off the EP to understand why. Infectious with a boundless energy that really translates onto the crowd. With this being the first EP of original material on Rekids since 2011’s ‘I Think I Love You’, the release is sure garner some extensive club usage over the next couple of months.

One of the most eagerly anticipated electronic albums of 2012 is finally released! Ninas album is a combination of stripped-bare house, deepest Detroit sounds via beautifully ambient pockets and more soul infused slo-mo jams, all coated with an authentic analogue finish and Nina exquisite vocals. The music is emotive and engaging, whilst being something truly original and inspirational. The album features collaborations with Hard Ton and King Aus. Playing out like a full artistic statement rather than just a collection of tracks, the odd time signatures, innocent and waify vocals, muted acid lines and hypnotic loops layered up by Nina all work subtly at pulling you into her world. A superbly, executed and accomplished debut album that has already set the bar high for electronic albums this year.

Coming from the Constant Black family but distinctly committed to the evergreen sound of disco, Cardiology is a label committed to club music with heart and soul. First up on this label is Earl (Yann Polewka & Evenn), who wastes no time in setting the mood with "The Fantasy", a tastefully funked up house joint with French Touch leanings. "No You Don't" brings the disco to the fore even more, but not at the expense of hard-pumping beats and a killer diva lick or two. "No Speed Limit" is tough and pounding, which makes the sliced up samples dig in all the deeper - you could totally imagine DJ Bone juggling this one to death. "Strictly Real" takes things even further with a spaced out breakbeat speckled bumper lavished with gorgeous string shots - a curious blend that works like a dream.

Our pick is "No Speed Limit", an ever-pounding infinity loop groover is well entitled its name. Our recommendation for sure – go buy the record!
