We are talking with https://soundcloud.com/jensen-interceptor aka Mikey Melas - uplifting soul, DJ and producer from Australia. He has been releasing singles since 2012, his energy rocketed with releases through Boys Noize and Sheffield’s Central Processing Unit (CPU) labels and numerous cool collaborations. His sound is combined from electro tradition influenced by the greats - Kraftewerk & Detroit sound - and modern edge, pop twists, moving dancefloor beats. His tracks has been picked up by many of the biggest DJs while sets played by Jensen Interceptor himself are delightful too.

"Every 4,044 years comet Calanhi enters the inner solar system, returning from its cold and silent voyage through the Oort cloud. As it approaches perihelion, billions on Earth gaze into the night sky, transfixed by the celestial spectacle of their lifetime. While solar winds tear at the comet’s surface, deep inside the glowing ball of ice, ancient machinery springs to life."

Over the past five years Daniel Lodig and Martin Sovinz aka /DL/MS/ (@dl-ms) have been continually commuting through the electro singularity, constructing their unique brand of fragile bass music from extradimensional sound salvage, and spreading their frequency patterns via the subspace channels of @frustratedfunk, @pomelorecords, @vigram and TRUST. 

‘Calanhi’ is the Viennese duo‘s debut album – 12 tracks that combine the eternally fresh aesthetics of Detroit-style electro with a relentless curiosity for rhythmic and harmonic experimentation. Seismic club thumpers like ’Invisible Bits’, ‘Mountains’, and ‘Trusted Funk’ alternate with moody ambient interludes, boldly constructed beat inventions, and blissfully melodic acid breaks. Two collaborations further switch up the flow: Nigerian artist @g-rizo (@hezekinapollutina, Deejay Gigolo) drops her cryptic rhymes on ‘Divide & Conquer’, and Spanish singer Xx Isis xX (@isiskuaygarond) provides vocals for ‘Accelerated Frequency’.

Krishna Goineau is well known for his starring role in ‘Los Niños del Parque’ with Liaisons Dangereuses and in other projects such as Velodrome and Xeroox. Through one of his friends we have been lucky enough to receive a hard disk on which there are a variety of unreleased tracks by Krishna Goineau with MCL (Micro Cheap League) recorded in the year 85-86. Krishna lived in Barcelona at that time and was involved in different groups while traveling through Germany and Belgium to create new projects. After dissolving Liaisons Dangereuses in 1983 Krishna started a new project with MCL where you can identify the essence and influences that he had at that time, touches of EBM and metal synthesizers with vocals in Spanish as in the track ” No Information ” These tracks are preserved in excellent quality in which Alden Tyrell has done the mastering on vinyl and digital. Having something like this is like finding a treasure in the middle of a secret island. To finalize the release we have edits from Silent Servant, Curses, Esprit Divers aka Coyu. Deckard & Lucient.

Producer and DJ The Deserter has developed a profound fascination for underground movements and musical counterculture throughout the years. Influenced by the pioneers of the 90's rave scene and classic Detroit techno, as well as the emerging wave of producers, he has crafted a dynamic and versatile style in his productions and mixes, characterized by seamless transitions between genres and a relentless focus on dance music. In terms of his productions, he has contributed to acclaimed labels and compilations such as Appointee Rec, Bat Soup Crew, Bogoture Records, Bestiario Collective, Your Character, Ovelha Trax, Perlas Label, WC Fast Music Delivery, FU.ME.REC, Furatena ,Sufrimiento Records and Dancefloor Impact Research Label.

Which artists has influenced you the most? 

- It's a difficult question because many colleagues, friends, and specific moments in the history of music are my references. I could mention thousands of artists within the known spectrum, but definitely, those closest to the underground scene in Buenos Aires are the ones who have influenced me the most.

What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future?

- I have several pending projects. Currently, I have emigrated to Europe, so I have fallen behind on these, but there is an upcoming EP on Sufrimiento Records , a remix for DJ Tankard's new album, two singles for Ovelahtrax and Lambratech, a new release in my "Peaceful Places" series, and my debut EP for Furatena.
  
Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now? 

- I tend to listen to myself a lot because I feel I need to polish my technique as a producer. However, lately, I have been listening to artists like Ben Pest, Volsoc, Human Rebellion, Iglooghost, Yandere, Hermeth, User Delusion, Dark Vektor, and other artists from very diverse genres.Talking about labels:Ovelhatrax , Fu.Me.Rec , Former City Records , Perlas Label , Sufrimiento Records, Vista Recordings, Alta Costura, Jerry Horny, M.U.S.A. , Ghetto Traxx, Brainwaves, Furatena and Jupiter4 to name a few

What inspires you now to create music? 

- Basically, the past and the future are my themes. I think nostalgia and anxiety are the central themes in my music. Maybe it's due to my inability to appreciate the present (mental note: address this in therapy xD).

What set-up do you use when creating music?

- Currently, due to emigration, I am using a reduced version of my studio, which includes: Ableton Push 2, a MIDI Fighter Twister controller, a Dave Smith Tetr4 polyphonic synthesizer, and my MOTU Ultralite Mk3 audio interface.

EP "The Different" — is the part of the label, which included artists from different countries and cultures. There are BRAVERS residents, Russian and foreign guests, united with their love for industrial music — Antoni Maiovvi from Bristol, WLDV from Bilbao, Velax from St. Petersburg and the resident of the Moscow label BRAVERS - Anton Levdikov
The cover was created by collecting different parts of faces: portraits of listeners, artists and members of the electronic music lovers. Everybody have its own distinctive features, but at the same time related for the one large community.
