With an arsenal of stellar music releases already under his belt, Ponty Mython serves up the delicious “Pink Tango” EP for Futureboogie.

Having carved out a reputation for some of the finest cosmic house productions on labels like Omena, Dirt Crew and Quintessentials, the Lithuanian based producer delivers three new cuts on this release, which comes ably backed by a remix from Italian producer Fabrizio Mammarella.

On the title track, Alex Pletnev (Ponty Mython), goes for breezy synths and wandering melodies over a chugging mechanical beat and an FM style bassline, whilst Fabrizio Mammarella (Bear Funk/Les Disques De La Mort) toughens things up slightly on his remix, plunging into a darker sound aesthetic for a great reinterpretation of the original.

On “Time Spiral” an unhurried groove is laced with layer upon layer of meditative synths and percussive rolls for a fat dose of eighties soundtrack vibes, whilst EP closer, “Appreciate It While It's Not Too Late”, settles down to a head-nodding pace with funky bass and key melodies and live drum samples for a real earworm of a track.

Ponty Mython - Time Spiral (FBR057) [clip]

Ponty Mython explores the outer boundaries of meditative synths, wandering melodies and eighties soundtrack vibes as he debuts on Futureboogie Recordings with his "Pink Tango" EP. On the remix front, Italian producer Fabrizio Mammarella slightly toughens things up for the title track, plunging into a darker sound aesthetic and takes us on a psychedelic proto-house excursion with chugging mechanical basslines and spiraling synths.

Up next on Maceo Plex's Lone Romantic imprint, Sydney-based producer Jensen Interceptor puts together a touching and palpitating debut album titled 'Mother' - a robust electro/techno ode to the woman who brought him into the world.

Ahead of this magnificently sweaty and fleet-footed release, Jensen Interceptor has offered up his collaborative track with electro powerhouse The Hacker, 'Time Echo'. 

Acting as the album's closing tune, 'Time Echo' is an adrenaline-fueled electro slammer with robotic tendencies and aggro 303 drives that will with put any Drexciya enthusiast in a frantic dancefloor stupor.
