Electro specialist Sinitsin invites us deep into another world on his new EP for LDI Records. On Dreams of Ashes Sinitsin unveils his passion for science fiction and the work of Philip K. Dick (PKD). His four original tracks come backed with standout remixes from Umwelt and Privacy.

Andrey Sinitsin started out playing drums in various rock bands at a young age. But his love of experimentation and exploration took him into the world of electronic music, where he now cooks up his own fusions of IDM, techno and electro.

This release is a cinematic electro EP, full of adventure and invention.

At Nebulae HQ we always had a weakness for Supernova Remnants. They heat up the interstellar medium, distribute heavy elements throughout the galaxy and accelerate cosmic rays. We thought this concept was perfect as a metaphor for our compilations, so here we are with another cosmic trip towards one of this amazing cosmic phenomena.

The Medulla Nebula (or CTB-1) is the expanding gas shell that was left when a massive star toward the constellation of Cassiopeia exploded about 10,000 years ago. The resulting supernova remnant, nicknamed the Medulla Nebula for its brain-like shape, still glows in visible light by the heat generated by its collision with confining interstellar gas.

TL PREMIERE : Atakta - Rain Again [Jade]

Gladio Operations label presents its ninth release, with volume 2 of the Split Machine series, which this time features two new and recognised faces on the European and American electro scene.

One of these new faces is producer Noamm. This Greek artist, who has releases on such respected labels as Bass Agenda and Fundamental Records, opens the EP with "Clone Machine" and "Scientific Technological Device", two excellent rough and pragmatic tracks which link perfectly with “Verruckter Wissenschaftler”. The latter track, a fast-paced cut impregnated with tasty dark textures, perfectly defines the talent of the Hellenic producer. 

The B-side bears the signature of Brice Kelly, who also debuts on Gladio Operations and gifts us three fantastic, enveloping, and melodic tracks. The American producer kicks off with “Beings of Alpha”, a deep and very well-constructed journey that gives way to “If You Don't Think Like Us”. 
We really like it, even more so if it is accompanied by an elegant vocoder and enigmatic strings. Lastly, we arrive at “Powers That Be”, the closing track of the album, where we can perceive a cut of aggressive bass lines and gloomy textures, well aligned with well-chosen robotic vocals.

The Swedish/Icelandic young prodigy Dataintrång has left the electro scene in shock after in only 2 years coming from nowhere risen to the Top of the pyramid.

Making his debute on Luke Eargoggles “Stilleben Records” imprint in February last year 2023 with “Malicious Malware” then teamed up with Eargoggle making their first record “The Super trance Experience” also released on Stilleben. Over a year they challenged the universe making over 45 records and over 270+ trax in less than 1 year after their first meeting in the studio.

Most released on Lukes imprint they danced with the Devil creating the album series and concept “Astroworld” with one album for every Zodiac sign.

Smashing into 2024 on Jan 1st they released “Milldoffs Lakejer” completely switching the sound back to the roots of electro style.
They also are very soon proud to present two vinyl releases on both superstar Helena Hauffs “Return To Disorder” imprint and Pareidolia Records by Stefania Meneghello.

Now Dataintrång through Milano based Fu.me Records is ready to show the scene his solo work as an conceptual album in a much darker, melancholic and thought provoking fashion of style.

“Your Reality Is A Fantasy” 10 track release is testing the limits of humanitys darker fantasys, existentialism, critical thinking, prejudice, autistic awareness and where the line fä stretches in the art worlds freedom of speech.

Also opening the question of what is real and what is considered reality. Is it all a computer simulated experience or is there levels of levels of different awareness grade where nothing is really real?

The title and trax of the album leaves it up to you to discover your reality and fantasys. Existentialy thought-provoking the album now hits through Fume with it's dark electro aesthetic soundscape and it's driven techno-esque hopelessness the world 18th March 2024 on Fume Bandcamp and later on all major streaming services and boutiques.

URBAN DISTORTIONS is so exited to present the upcoming release "Lo-Fi Electro Lush" EP by KRYPTON 81 from Denmark that will be out on the 17.05.2024.
This amazing EP has been crafted and mixed in the analog domain and spiced with gritty sounds from vintage gear synth.
Nowadays pulling a perfect mix with software is quite easy, but the perfect sound is not what the ear is craving for.

Krypton 81 had its humble beginnings as a two-man project conceived on a cold November night at Copenhagen Central Station in 2013. The first release hit the scene in 2014, featuring Electro-infused music inspired by space travel, science, and occultism. Numerous subsequent releases followed on labels such as X0X, Lunar Orbiter Programme, Blind Allies, etc. With various live appearances across Europe, the group gained momentum.
However, in 2022, they decided to part ways. Now operating as a solo endeavor, Krypton 81 is still alive with a lot of new music in the pipeline.
