We are proud to announce Meccanismo Ritmico, a new multidisciplinary project that will involve artists who can think outside the box, inspired by the energy and spirit of the 1980s DIY subculture. The first volume contains 6 exclusive tracks by Diana Berti aka Violet Poison and Disappearer, 1/2 of Harlem Electronics, two already well-known names in the international electronic scene. The first part is dominated by the romantic and introspective minimal synth wave sounds of Diana Berti contrasted by the dirty and distorted EBM influenced tracks of Disappearer. The compilation is now available only on digital on Bandcamp.

The Italian producer has had a busy few years touring North America, South America and Europe, not to mention dropping releases on labels like Ovum and Tenax Recordings. Meanwhile his UNCAGE imprint, which he runs alongside Norman Methner, has quickly cemented a reputation for quality house and techno; releasing music from artists like Eduardo De La Calle, Pablo Mateo and Fabio Della Torre (under his Corcos moniker).
With its rolling percussion and a heady spoken word sample, ‘Find The Song’ introduces a quintessential Rekids record. Thunderous kick drums and piercing stabs then form the high-octane ‘Arcane’ before the dark and ominous ‘Justice’ demonstrates industrial elements and floating atmospherics. Tying it all together, tantalizing melodies join echoing effects for the final track titled ‘Layers’.

“Take Me Down” is a hard-hitting EBM monster anticipating Djedjotronic’s forthcoming debut album. Rolling metal-made arpeggiators punctuate Douglas’ dehumanized, screaming vocal cuts. Severe surveillance warnings echo among the walls of an industrial district. Order and law nullifies the individual in a never-ending 4/4 march, in the religious veneration of the God rhythm.

‘Palais’ is a 12 track multi-faceted exploration of Kris Baha’s musical sensitivity. The one man band’s namesake LP title, ‘Palais’ is based around the concepts of alienation, detachment, melancholia and lust. All songs written, performed, recorded and mixed by Kris between 2015 - 2018 in Berlin, laced in his signature industrial sound.
‘Palais’ encompasses a range of shades from dance-floor works ‘ Living Nothingness’, 'Brink Reality (Part 2)' & 'Non For The Sane’ to experimental cinematic undertones 'You Told Yourself This Would Get Worse’. Also embodied are modern classics like the machine funk metallics of ’Steel Sands’ and ‘Defied’, a year 2042 cyber punk hit. There’s even a dark room inspired theme for the black leather lovers. From his own batch of psychedelia to post-punk and electronic romanticism this album is full of surprises and Cocktail d’Amore Music is absolutely proud to present this outstanding work.
