"As I am only 14 years old, my Techno and dance music experience is quite limited but one of the first techno songs I ever heard was Enrico Sangiuliano - Astral Projection. As soon as I heard the drop for the first time it made the hairs on my head stand on end and I knew I had to listen to more. After becoming a big fan of Enrico from listening to his just released album at the time, Cosmic Forces and hearing the likes of the symbiosis drop I knew that techno was the best genre of electronic music for me. One of my stand out tech trance producers from back in 2008 was Element One. The sound he produced was definitely something unique to the scene and he quickly became a name to remember. A couple of his staple tracks for me included 'Everyone On Earth' released on Marcus Schossow's Tone Diary label and 'South Haven' which was released on Markus Schulz's Coldharbour Recordings along with numerous other works remixed by major artists like Agnelli & Nelson, Funabashi, Mat Zo and many others. 

The track 'Miami Vice' was the official first track I ever heard from the artist  then and was instantly hooked on this edgy sound. To pay tribute to that track and artist, I've constructed a rework of Miami Vice. I hope you enjoy!

One particular set that stood out to me started just as the sun was creeping over the horizon. As I began playing my first track, I took a look over the crowd to see the expressions on everyone’s faces, pure happiness. And to be honest, moments before getting behind the decks, I couldn’t wait to go home. Camping on a beach for 3 nights with no shower or air conditioning began bothering me. But at that moment, as the sun was coming up and seeing the energy from everyone, it reminded me why I love playing music - creating a positive experience for people to connect and express themselves freely. The beauty of the sunrise gave life to the dance floor as warm souls filled it with love and energy. It was a new day where anything was possible.
