This track was composed in Reaper and used instruments from Arturia's Analog Lab 4/Analog Lab Lite VST. 
I was just scrolling through some of the VST's presets and found something that gave me strong "inside a mysterious cave:  vibes. I started to play around with it a little bit and this tune came out. The final result reminds me of a few songs from the Final Fantasy 7 soundtrack, namely: Mako Reactor, Desert Wasteland, Forest Temple, The North Cave, and The Deep Sea.
