We’re kicking off our countdown to our 24-hour ADE marathon at Houthavens with a podcast by Clarisa Kimskii, Brooklyn-based DJ and producer. With her label L.A.G and her residency at Brooklyn-based queerparty Merge,  
With a very unique approach to genre. Made a feel good mix with tracks that are heavily influenced by House along with some expressive vocals. While maintaining the psychedelic and driving sounds she pushes.

Track Highlight:

"Get Up On This" by Isaiah is a track that I've played out several times and it's gotten huge responses on a variety of dancefloors. I've played it for both serious Techno crowds and more multi-genre -mixed ones. The result has been the same, Pure Joy and tons of dancing. I love that it feels like a House cut but is written at 140 BPM.

This edition of The Bunker Podcast comes in the form of a peak time live set from @doltzdeep, a label artist on DJ Nobu's Bitta imprint who will be performing live at The Bunker x Bitta party in Brooklyn on Friday November 29.

When we asked @djnobu_bitta who else he wanted to bring from the label for this showcase, he immediately suggested Doltz. Doltz started his musical career in 1998 as a drummer in a hardcore punk band, and had a fateful encounter with DJ Nobu, who shares the same musical roots, when they were billed alongside each other at a party in 2022. Impressed by Doltz's live performance, DJ Nobu immediately booked him for his residency party 'reprise' at Womb Tokyo. The two hit it off and began exchanging tracks, with DJ Nobu actively playing out Doltz's tracks while touring across the world and receiving a good response. Doltz's live set at The Bunker will be his US debut!

For our latest Bleep Mix instalment, Sandwell District come through with a hefty programming of dark rollers fulfilling that promise of reinvigorated purpose they mentioned before: “Having a good time”. And with a wealth of exclusive unheard material it’s hard to refute the mission statement. Dropping straight into the cavernous environs of an unreleased Regis side Frosty Jack’s, the selection rides a restrained line building tension through a number of Nastia Reigel tracks deployed with utmost precision before upping its stride with Luke Slater’s Planetary Assault Systems and quickly landing first peak from The Wizard himself, with Jeff Mills' slamming ‘93 cut Step to Enchantment (Stringent). Taking in a track from their comrade Surgeon’s forthcoming album, as well as the simmering acid of their own tune Hidden, Sandwell District bring it back round full circle via two further unreleased reworks of heroes Meat Beat Manifesto providing a breakbeat singed rupture to close out the proceedings with the vocal snatches of MBM’s Helter Skelter summing it all up really: “It's in my brain now. This is it!”

The selection runs wide: from Regis, Rødhâd, LSD, Nørbak, Nastia Reigel, Ignez, Rene Wise, Silent Servant, Alarico and UFO95 to unreleased gems by Filippo Scorcucchi - alongside Function’s own productions, edits and textures. One central element always remains: a deep love and understanding of sound and all its influential effects. Peter Van Hoesen runs Time To Express and Center 91. Together with AtomTM he is SYNC. - a live techno project focused on improvisation and collaboration. Together with Yves De Mey he is Sendai, a forward looking experimental outfit with releases on Editions Mego, Archives Intérieures, Konstrukt and Stroboscopic Artefacts.
