BIO


Djemanuel started his career on the late half of the 80’s and imposed himself in the greatest clubs of Oporto, second largest city of portugal which has a huge night life.
  
His african roots are a great influence on his sets, where congas and the afro-tribal rhythms are a  constant. 

In more than ten years of career, he played in several clubs where he earned the respect of his fellow Dj friends and the admiration of Clubers.


HOUSE is his great love, from “deep” to “pumping”, from “ Commercial” to more eclectic depending of the several different Dance floor contexts.


For him, HOUSE has a SOUL and it’s with this Philosophy that he develops his sets.


As a resident Dj, he joined the best clubs and bars of portugal’s nightlife.

Examples are the Pharmacia bar, Rock´s club, Mercado bar, Structura club, Praia dos ingleses beach bar, Bibó porto bar, Alfândega club (Caminha), Cordoaria bar, Bela cruz bar, River caffé club, Marechal bar, Indústria porto club (recorded for this club the album IT´S AMAZING that sold more than twenty five thousand copys), Metro club, MP3 club, t0 bar, Puro bar, Tomate club,Vaticano Club (Barcelos),Versus Club(Lixa) Porto rio bar, Indústria Cerveira club (one of the best and charismatic summer clubs in the north of Portugal in which he his a resident dj since 1991),last 4 years was  residence in one of the best Portuguese  clubs, Eskada Club ( Vizela ),That Club Win the title of BEST CLUB  in Portugal for Two Years (2009,2010);Now is resident in Industria Club,Porto,one of the most sophisticated club in Portugal.


In Spain, he his part of one of the best dj agencies 
since 1997, HOUSE OF MAD (Leon). 






Along his career Emanuel had the pleasure to 
play with great international dj´s as for instance: DAVE CAMACHO, ANGEL MORAES, ROB DI STEPHANO, LUDVIC NAVARRE 
(St.germain), GEMINI, COLIN PETTERSON, RACHEL DELLORI, PRINCESS JULIA, JL MAGOYA, BETTINA, MC ROSE, 100% ISIS, ACTON MILLER, DJ SEAMUS, HELLEN RHODE, TEE-HARRIS, ALL LONDON, DJ CHUS, DJ VIBE, NICK MARKOU, DJ NACHO, AMALGAMATION OF SOUNDZ, LUCA RICCI, QUEEN NAKADIA, TONY HUMPHRIES, TOM NOVY, BOBBY D’AMBROSIO, DAVID PENN, SILICONE SOUL, DIMITRI FROM PARIS, FEMME FATALE, MARTIN SOLVEIG, DAVID ALVARADO, FRANKIE KNUCKLES, JOHN CREAMER,THAT KID CHRIS,STEVE ANGELO,MARTIN SOLVEIG, LEXICON AVENUE, KINGBRITT,STEVE ANGELO and with the best portuguese dj´s such as RUI VARGAS, CARLOS MANAÇA, PETE THA ZOUK, FRANK MAUREL...



As a producer, his first record was released in march 2005, by a portuguese label, BIMOTOR DJ and MOD Records ( Switzerland)  A  house track, “see you Moovin” with georgia Hardinge on vocals and with a remix by his Iberican friends, the 2 BROTHERS OF SOUL,


The song was “hot release” in the famous radio program presented by ROGER S, release yourself.



The single “see u Moovin” was released also in other CD compilations such as NOVA ERA CLUB 2004 (POR), UNITED DJ´S OF PORTUGAL, GLAM CLUB (SP) ,PACHA LEON (SP) AND PORTUGUESE HOUSE FLAVOURS.”see u Moovin” is re-edit by MOD Productions, first on digital format in traxsource.com,with new remixes by higher ground,mod and 2 brothers of soul,this edition is called See u in Miami and with 2011 Mixes on Exklusive Records, Vidisco Portugal, out in April 2011.
His new  Project CHIC BONES,start a new Beginning on his career. 
Emanuel hopes to keep improving his work and give to his public n’ listeners the joy and Happiness for which he is known.
