This was a very special show for my first show of 2024 at the stunning Brixton Radio studio. I was very pleased to have my 2 students Ash & Dave joining me to show off their talents. Both of them suffered an acquired brain injury in their late teens that nearly caused them to lose their lives. But - here they are - proving that there is life after a brain injury and how music is a powerful way for them to express themselves, learn new skills and in Dave's case - rekindle old skills (as he was a talented DnB MC before the knife attack that caused the brain injury)

DJ Emma is a DJ and producer.  She has a passion for the genres of funk, soul, disco and house. On this page you will find mixes and past radio shows from her time at Select Radio and also her new residency on Brighton Based Radio Station 1BTN. 
She is also a regular on her local BBC Radio Wiltshire where she curates specialist music shows and is also a Friday night resident DJ.
DJ Emma regularly DJ's around Bristol and London with gigs at The Thekla, Brixton Jamm, 93 Feet East, Spiritland and Hootenanny Brixton - she also DJ's at many of the UK festivals including Camp Bestival, Shindig, We Out Here, Wilderness and more.
