DJ ESKALATOR 

Originally from the UK, a young Eskalator was always seen grooving and moving to the beats of Clubs, Festivals, or wherever the music was at. He enjoyed the finest music scene that London had to offer - Fabric, Ministry of Sound, Egg, along with Village underground and the Tobacco Docks were a few of his favourite haunts.

After a move to Australia, Eskalator met his mentor, Craze, another London lad, who from a young age span vinyl. Craze ran a legendary London Pirate Radio Station, Hosted Sunshine Daze Events, and toured various clubbing destinations around the world alongside music pioneers, EZ, Luck & Neat, and Brandon Block. With the passion for the music and full arsenal of skills Craze bestowed his knowledge upon Eskalator.

Eskalators taste of music developed from a variety of influences. His belief is that it’s got to have funk and groove, something that you can connect to, makes you feel and that makes you want to dance. What Eskalator brings, produces, and envisions is the movement of Riva Starr, the deepness of Mr. G. with the house funk of Mr fingers.

The young DJ started out by playing House, Tech House, and Techno sets to friends in Sydney’s suburbs; here he deepened and developed his understanding, love, and appreciation for DJing, Music, and Production.

Later, Craze, a key member of the Bondi Radio crew, invited young Eskalator onto his shows. You can catch the duo smashing out a set, broadcasting back home via House Digital radio, Fresh Sounds Radio & Loco London, having many laughs and sinking a beer or two in true Aussie fashion.

Since then, Eskalator secured a top place in The Royal Oaks DJ Competition, as well as two Summer Residencies at Lush on Bondi, with guest spots at Cafe Del Mar & The Vault Bar alongside other regular gigs throughout the city. 

Eskalators production runs deep into the character he is, how he portrays life and the world around him. He believes in balance and inturn produces tracks with emotions that everyone can connect to.
