I made this mix months ago, before the world all went to hell and kind of forgot about it until now, thought it might help you travel to another time and place for a bit. It’s an all vinyl selection of Japanese funk, soul, and pop from the 70s and 80s. If you follow this vibe you’ll recognize a bunch of the tunes, but hopefully discover some new ones (I’ve been nerding out and digging in this sound for a minute now) and if you don’t, I hope it expands your horizons and brightens your day a bit. I've been DJing in NYC and worldwide since 2000.
