Upside Down

FRISKO Music artist and triple-threat Canadian DJ Etherea (formally I.M.U.), has burst into the international house scene with a quiver of original, energetic tracks backed by her original lyrics and elemental vocals that transport oneself deep into her ethereal music.

Summer 2011 saw Etherea collaborating with legendary bass guitarist Peter Hook from New Order to produce Salty, which along with Work it Out, was featured on the soundtrack for the indie movie “Ecstasy”.  After tasting her first success, Etherea left Canada to spread her love of music on a booming, independent year and a half world tour, which saw her playing nightclubs from Manchester to Berlin, and beach parties from Panama City to Ibiza.  Opening for such talent as Hed Kandi, Paul Van Dyk, and Junior Sanchez, Etherea’s reputation has grown exponentially.  Check for her newest feature on Da Hussla & Jamie Van Goulden’s remake of Reflekt’s I Need to Feel Loved.
Seeking inner exploration and inspiration, Etherea recently disappeared into the Jungles of Central America and emerged with a new outlook on her life and music.
