Hungarian producer Norbert Péter a.k.a Norvis adds to an immaculate back catalogue thats touched EXTIMA, Animarum, and Orange Recordings with 'Descending' - a progressive 2-track voyage that strikes an irresistible balance between brute force and lightness of touch.

The title track opens up with strident, shark-tooth sonics that move swiftly and neatly through murky atmospherics. There's a deep-set swing in the rhythm which when combined with his playful synth work and nifty drum fills makes for a kinetic and highly addictive cut. 

'A World Without Fire' follows up with the reverse of the coin. More syncopated fills ricochet off jagged stabs and the result is another spry slice of Techno that's impossible to resist dancing to. 

Progress courses forward, carrying the listener through an adrenaline-rich trip before the record reaches its apogee. A haunting vocal sample gives way to a bright, expressive crescendo that wraps up a satisfying conflation of Central European Techno, Prog and groove-focused Minimal.
