This is a cut of my set on Quixosis's show on Worldwide FM entitled 'Closer to the Sun' back in April.

He kindly invited me to do a mix with a concept of the line of the Equator and the countries that lie within. I took this wonderful challenge and chose to dig deep into the sounds of Indonesia, finding magical Indo 45s & 78's and some modern pieces within some small Jakarta based music forums.

Upon reminiscing my youth, I came across a collection of some old dub 7 inches that I used to listen to growing up in the UK.
I was always fascinated by the dub side of the single, which was mainly instrumental but full of delay, crispy drums and warm bass. So I’ve put together a collage / mixtape to celebrate these rare rhythms of 70/80/90’s dub culture, including interview snippets from some dub archives and pirate radio stations.

@Mattmosphere and Love Foundation that is a love affair that has been going on for a while. It all started with a romantic weekend in Vienna beginning 2018, sparks were flying and a second weekend getaway was planned together. This time outside and in the slightly smaller mountains of the Netherlands, in Limburg.

After that it was clear that both parties are ready for the next step and a fusion of the @drosssel and Love Foundation family with a 48 hour rave weekend in Mensch Meier in Berlin, was the logical conclusion in summer 2019.

Now we are limited to online dating, but Matt knows how to play that game as well and the set that he recorded for us, hits us right in the heart. Be ready for an hour full of emotions and a special kind of journey that only Matt knows how to take you on. 

We love you Matt and we look already forward to the next gathering in real life together.
