Zonder enige twijfel de beste remix ooit van dit nummer. Kan niet anders dan door Orson Welsh geremixt. Intimi weten dat mijn moeder 23-9 is overleden. Deze plaat heeft dan ook een bijzondere lading. Ik kijk naar boven en zie haar als Sky full of Stars. Het warme sausje van the Welshman doet de rest. Ik hou het niet droog als ik deze draai.

Rising Russian progressive producer Michael Mashkov teams up with Kazakh talent Tim Iron to deliver Quaresma, a sweeping trance single from two gifted label newcomers. Earlier this year, Michael Mashkov caught our ear with "Alcantara", an uplifting synth number that billows like clouds departing after a storm. The electrifying "Quaresma" unites the creative talents of Mashkov and Iron, showcasing a unique chemistry. 

Quaresma begins with a steady beat, upon which raindrops of percussive hits begin to fall. We soon find ourselves in the midst of this storm as bass-y textures swirl into the overcast picture above. Retreating for a pensive and (ultimately) poignant breakdown, the progressive storm then returns, showering us with a steady downpour of blissfully melodic trance keys. 

Michael Mashkov's mix offers a slower-paced spin on the original. In place of the punctuated percussion, space-y synths now appear, which extend far into horizon. Midway through the track, our senses are elevated by a vocal rise, leading into a buildup. The heavy synths fill us with wonder as we ponder a cosmic expanse. Ending with the synth chords upon which the track is built, we're slowly lowered back to the ground.
