Naomi is a Berlin-based DJ who has a perfectly calibrated passion for House music and an ability to create unpredictable atmospheres and energy in the club. Growing up and competing as a House dancer has helped shape and hone Naomi's appreciation for the smoothest of house grooves as a DJ. In the past 6 years, she’s been making a name for herself by playing in the city’s most renowned clubs like Tresor, Watergate, Golden Gate and Heideglühen and can be spotted regularly on HÖR, the notorious bathroom streaming service.

Last year she kicked off a new residency at the not-for-profit radio station, Refuge Worldwide, where she holds down a monthly show specialising on all grooves and moods of house music. Changing tempos from soulful and deep house to driving and powerful is what she has become known for, and she continues to bring the love of Chicago and Detroit house music to the Berlin dancefloors.

It's always very touching to find musical testimonials. Over 20 years ago, my booking agency asked me to record this mix. In 2002, I was very inspired by the San Francisco scene. There were some great labels, DJs and artists there... What makes me happy is that I could still play 95% of those records. Time goes by too quickly, but I'm still as passionate and involved as ever. It was a great period, we played 100% vinyl, I scoured the record shops... This mix is an opportunity to look back on a past with tons of great memories. Enrique Jiménez, aka Big Pack, es el dueño del sello House Salad Music. Descubrió su amor por la música electrónica a mediados de los 90’s cuando asistía a fiestas de house y techno con DJ locales. A partir de entonces, comenzó su íntima historia de amor con la música house volviéndose fanático del sonido de Chicago, el jazzy house parisino y el techno de Detroit. La tarea de descubrir música se convirtió en un ciclo infinito y la colección de discos dió inicio.

Después de 11 años recorriendo pistas de baile como espectador e intentando ser dj en fiestas de la preparatoria y la universidad, fue hasta 2004 que adquirió sus primeras tornamesas technics 1200 y al tener una colección de vinilos suficiente, decidió aventurarse en el mundo del DJ de manera mas formal. Ahora, con algunos años de experiencia, Big Pack ha tocado en clubes importantes en México, así como en Canada, Estados Unidos y Costa Rica, siendo telonero para artistas como Kevin Saunderson, Kenny Larkin, Derrick Carter, Phil Weeks, Wally Callerio, Andrew Emil, JT Donaldson, Oliver Dollar, 1200 Warriors, Brett Hohnson, Arturo Garces, Marques Wyatt, entre otros.

Ahora forma parte de la programación semanal de Radio Webphre en Canada, ademas de manejar su propio podcast y sello, House Salad Music, con los mejores DJs de música house a nivel mundial. Convencido de la atemporalidad de la música, sus mezclas son un verdadero túnel del tiempo, donde toca clásicos combinados con lo más moderno.
