Comme tous les DJs guests qui ont la chance de voyager et de pouvoir se produire chaque week-end un peu partout en France, vous savez qu’il arrive parfois sur certaines dates de pas pouvoir jouer aussi pointu qu’on le souhaiterait dans certains clubs. ☹️

Lorsque ça arrive, les DJs doivent alors à ce moment savoir faire preuve d’imagination pour quand même apporter leur touche musicale dans un set, et faire en sorte que le public passe le meilleur moment possible. 🫡

Un bon DJ, à nos yeux, doit forcément savoir s’adapter, lever la tête, et surtout savoir ‘mettre de l’eau dans son vin’ (une expression française très populaire). 😂

Du coup, à travers nos bookings chaque week-end, on a créer des édits, et remixes efficaces qui nous permettent de nous adapter à la clientèle qu’on rencontre -souvent pour la première fois-, dans une ville qu’on ne connaît pas forcément, tout en rajoutant notre sauce Booty Patrol. 🍑

Une sorte de kit de premiers secours, dans lequel on peut piocher rapidement dans le cas où c’est délicat de jouer aussi pointu qu’on le souhaiterait. 🧯

On l’a donc baptisé: ‘FIRST AID KIT’ 🧰
Et comme ce deuxième kit contient uniquement des édits/remixes de morceaux français, on a fait une version spéciale ‘France’ qui fait suite au premier. 🇫🇷

Ça nous permet d’apporter notre touche musicale dans notre set, en jouant des tracks que le public en face de nous connaît à coup sûr, et de nous mettre ce même public dans la poche rapidement. 🎯

On essaie toujours d’aider la communauté, alors on s’est dit que si ça nous était utile, ça le serait également pour tous les DJs qui nous suivent et supportent notre musique dans leurs sets, qu’ils soient guests ou résidents. 🫶🏼
D’ailleurs, ce First Aid Kit Vol. 2 peut même servir aux DJs étrangers qui viennent mixer en France et qui veulent conquérir le public français. 🚀

This is my first original song released in well over a year. Since my last release VICIOUS I think I have grown in a lot of ways. To those of you who have been rocking with me since day one, THANK YOU FOR BEING PATIENT and for letting my hone in on my sound. Also, to the people I have seen at shows this year who share with me how much my music impacts them, thank you guys. It really means so much to me when I know how my music can positively effect others.  

Regarding the video: Chicago will always be my home. Like all places it has it's good and it's bad. It's safe and it's scary. But no matter where you go, people are people; and my city and people in all cities deserve to feel safe.
