Lost Reminiscence

Imagine saving those you love (and the world)... but at the cost of missing out on their entire lives...

This is a raw, rough, faded, un-EQ'd preview of a remix I'm working on based on Hans Zimmer's OST for the movie Interstellar, which is one of my favorite films. I tried to capture the essence of the OST in the beginning while bringing my Trance-y melancholic, yet uplifting spin on it. Let your imagination wander and fill the gaps of what you may have done differently than the events of this beautiful space opera. Full mixed and mastered remix track will be released in the near future. Will be just over 4 minutes long.

This is a Remix of 2 songs from Bioware's Mass Effect franchise. It combines ME3's "Leaving Earth" with ME2's "Suicide Mission". The title of the mix is relevant to the story in ME3. You must leave Earth to then return, embark on a potential suicide mission, and take Earth back to then save the Galaxy. I got inspiration from the games, obviously, and I wanted to make this remix to help me say goodbye to the characters after I finished the trilogy. It's my first published remix of anything so this was quite the learning experience for me. The Reaper Horn makes a few appearances in this track too. For those who've played it, you know the significance of those horns, the impact they instill in all who hear it.

Save the Earth, Save the Galaxy (Mass Effect Remix)

This track is quite different from my other ones in that it employs a very powerful kick, a few slight glitch or audio slicing rhythms, a very aggressive bass, and a very wide lead. I'm having trouble deciding what specific genre it is, but here it is.

Matter Of Time

A brand new track. The title is meant to be an initiator of a phrase while the song itself embodies the final word: Energy. Zero Point Energy. This is the only source of theoretically infinite energy. We have but to harness it.

The track has a blend of high and low points, smooth and rough, hard areas. It starts off tame and then eventually takes an aggressive turn. Piano and guitar elements as well. Even a tempo drop, just for kicks.

A Texas born and raised nuclear engineer with a passion for music.
Exposed to a wide variety of musical genres as a child, electronic music has proven to draw his greatest interest, particularly Trance.
Learned to play piano around age 16, started composing at 17 and continues to do so to this day. It officially started at a high school talent show that close friends practically forced him to enter. They believed in him. That single event sparked the composer in him all the more.
After high school, musical production was largely on hold to concentrate on college.
Even after graduating with his degree in nuclear engineering, more than a year was spent just honing his skills so no additional releases were made.
But that's about to change...
