This week we are thrilled to welcome Ar-Men Da Viken, a DJ/producer born in the north of France. Like many of our guests, he’s been at it for a while. At the age of 13 he began to take an interest in music and started mixing in his bedroom with old turntables.

In 2018 he started production at Morninglory Music and Findike Records. In 2019 he joined Deepest Mind Records, Lincor Apex and in 2020 Conjured Records, Universal Love Tribe, Emperor Recordings. 2021 marks the year when his title signed to Findike Records "Taksim Voice" meets a huge success with djs and radios, with remixes by Christian Monique and Findike, his mentors. 2021 also marks the entry of Ar-Men Da Viken into Proton Music, AH Digital, Farawayscope and Bonzai Progressive. In 2022 he signed with 48 Records as well as Brique Rouge. 

His melodious, hypnotic and melancholic style invites you to close your eyes and transport yourself to another universe whether for his productions or his remixes. Regularly invited to play his sets in radios like Proton, Frisky, to name a few, you can find him every 4th Friday of the month on Cosmosradio.de for his Record Club show.

Bio:
Felipe García is a young music producer born in Uruguay. For several
years he has been studying production trying to get good techniques and establish
his sound. Within the genre, his orientation is the Progressive House branch, where
he felt deeply attracted since his referents are Guy J, Sasha and Hernan Cattaneo.
He has been working with his music for more than a year on labels such as Future
Avenue, Estribo Records, Forward Music, AH Digital among others that come along
the way. He has also recently released a guest mix in collaboration with Proton
Music on their Featured Artist radio show. Without a doubt, music is a path that is
just beginning and I would not like to abandon it since it is a therapy that we all need
in our lives.

Bio
Alain M. started dj’ing in his early 20s and played a variety of clubs, big and small, in Ottawa, Montreal and Kingston. From teenage influences in progressive rock, metal and blues, and later New York and Chicago house, Dutch techno and early trance, his style has evolved towards the more melodic, infectiously rhythmic and thoughtful sounds of progressive house, with a particular fondness for Argentinian productions.

Over his 25+ years as a DJ, Alain has cultivated a signature melodic, danceable, and thoughtful style with enough surprises to keep even the most devout listeners on their toes. His live events, organized only a few times annually, are a hypotonic, transformational experience for attendees, putting the Nation’s Capital on the map for electronic music. He has organized and collaborated in a number of events including Levitar, Sunday Meet & Beat, Sit-Down Sessions, Shake my Thursday and Expeditions, attracting a thoughtful crowd who stay mesmerized by his melodic, danceable sets, always peppered with delightfully unexpected sonic elements.

Alain M. is also a guest DJ submitting regular sets to several radio and online outlets. He is a resident on UK-based Beach Radio and on X-Beat Radio (France, Belgium). He was a monthly resident on Abyss Sound Experience on QuestLondon Radio in 2021.
He has appeared as a guest on a number of shows in several countries including the UK, Argentina, Spain, Brazil, Sri Lanka, Peru, Turkey, Israel and the US. In Canada, he has been featured as a guest DJ at several events by Ottawa-based Music.Art.Ppl, on CHUO FM’s Vanguard Pulse Radio, on CKCU FM’s Lost In Bass and Mapped Out Radio, on Montreal’s Afterhour radio show and on Toronto’s ION radio show.
