Chad's hard trace

This was the set I performed at the Ideal Tidy Weekender in April 2014. The set theme was the History of Hard Trance. Rather than try to do an extensive run through an hour's worth of the history in order, I simply picked my favourite hard trance tracks from the years. A lot of these were tracks which were instrumental to me wanting to produce the sound. I also played three of my own productions, two old ones which I felt really made an impact for me, and also my latest brand new track 'Rollcage' to finish. It was one of the most enjoyable sets I've played in so long, was a different spin for me and meant a lot to play all these amazing records. I hope you enjoy the free download!

1st set ive recorded in quite a while, very 1st set ive recorded using "goldwave" as i was having nothing but bother previously using "audacity"
this is a 100% vinyl mix on the good old technics SL-1200MK2's
nothing but makina style records from around 1994-2008 including the likes of "uptempo" adn sound" "bit music" "dj's@work" "teeside techno" etc, all stuff thats been played at the likes of "hangar13" "the new monkey" "progression" "clash of the titans" "dance control" etc.
