A1 "Up And Down" opens up with an ear-worm, repetitive melody that bangs and jacks with the hard kick and hi-hats. Freakish manipulation of the melody, tasteful breakdown and build-up, and a good dose of space throughout the track make this an undeniable sweat-dripper, trippy chugger. A2 "Do Make Me Strange" has a similarly catchy diddy that undulates around the drums. Restraint is the key here. Hard but funky, with distorted and drippy acidic takes on the main simplistic melodic line--this is a cerebral come-up, cooling your sweaty skin and leading your body to the nooks and crannies of the Hyper Groove.

The title track "Easily Disturbed" opens up the B side by ushering in the mood of the later hours. This is titillating, popping, syncopated, subtle, but still raucous techno right here. Perfect for mid-peak and when you're in your head, sending forces of rave rhythm telepathically to the rest of the dance floor. "Crystalline" closes out the EP with a boom and bang. Hypnosis overcomes. The ego-death has won out against your anxieties. This is music for the thrill-seekers of metropolitan dystopias worldwide...executed with nuance and style.

Pour son tout premier EP, la jeune artiste marseillaise LAZE propose 4

Originaire de Marseille, LAZE s'intéresse très tôt à la musique électronique.
Elle se familiarise avec la nuit marseillaise, qui l'inspire, d'abord par des
soirées orientées hard music, rave et acid techno. Elle découvre ensuite la techno à travers Caisson Gauche Records, organisateurs et label dont elle fait partie. LAZE façonne et impose progressivement son style onirique si particulier, aux allures brillantes, énergiques et digitales.

For her very first EP, rising artist LAZE comes up with 4 tracks influenced

The story behind this remix:

As someone who grew up in the 90s, Underworld were one of the first groups I was into along with bands like The Prodigy and other dj's of the time Jon Pleased Wimmin, Tony De Vit and Westbam. 

The sounds of the 90s influenced trance, techno and other electronic music for years to come. They are even relevant today in the modern trance movement.

One thing I enjoy doing is immersing myself in the past and rediscovering what I loved about the music I grew up listening too. 

This is my homage to one of my favourite tracks of all time - with a touch of psy-driven bass with some other new synth elements. It definitely brings a nice energy to the dance floor.
