Bursting into 2021 with the hope and positive energy we all need, Spectrum present an absolute juggernaut of a track...

Blinding by name. Blinding by nature. Fresh from major missives on the likes of Crosstown Rebels, Circus, Saved and Relief and heavyweight collaborations with the likes of Pete Tong, Alex Kennon makes his debut on Joris Voorn's Spectrum with this rolling juggernaut anthem that joins the dots between the 2000s and 2020s, house and techno, clubs and festivals and all shades of lockdown jadedness in between. It's his most personal release to date, and one that has already found favour with Kolsch, who made an early version a regular set favourite.

''Blinding Lights' is for me not just a record, it's a melting pot of emotions through music, a kind of time machine taking me from the early 2000's to today. I was overjoyed when Joris said he wanted the track for his own label Spectrum. His remix and take on the track will make this project very special, an intimate perspective from a great artist and musician like himself combined with a track I am very proud of.'

An inspired slab of emotional electronic music that nods in all directions and comes with that great sense of momentum and surprise, both Alex's original and Joris's remix hit spots we forgot existed. Lighter times are coming and music like this will be our soundtrack.

Anjunadeep label favourite Tom Marshall aka Marsh returns with his first solo EP of the year, ‘Heaven’. The EP follows a landmark twelve months for the UK-born, Cincinnati-based producer, who released his debut album ‘Lailonie’ on the label last November, and which has since accumulated over ten million streams.

The ‘Heaven EP’ features three characteristically melodic club cuts including title track ‘Heaven’ and ‘Innocence’. Final track, ‘Liberator’ closes the EP on an upbeat note, and has become a sought-after ID among fans of the label since it was revealed during his sunrise live set from Natural Bridge State Park, Kentucky. This set, since its broadcast last year, has racked up over a million streams.

Rising star Innellea demonstrates his prowess with four diverse, powerful cuts.
In a short time Innellea has made a significant impact. His production is inventive and progressive, gracing dance floors with emotional depth, considered arrangement and pumping rhythms.
His EP opens with ‘Confronted Reality’, which is driven by an oscillating low end, complemented by an emotive melody and a huge riff - tinged with drama throughout. Next up it’s the title track, a morose cut that utilises breakbeat-esque rhythms, piano keys and warped vocals. On the flip The Loss Of Hope’ features beautifully composed, trance-esque layers drift over a driving rhythm - lifting spirits and invoking the Heaven within. "Berlin" tells the tale of historic walls that whilst concrete and grey, exude so much warmth. Driving beats and transcendental moments join that tongue in cheek fun and randomness that a long night into day here brings.

Firing out their second single of 2022, FOLUAL deliver the euphoric track ‘Inside’ with two distinct versions. The Italian trance & techno trio play it big and gutsy on one version whilst showcasing their musical dexterity with a more subtle and meditative take.
 
Unfurling with melodic gated synths and industrial blasts, the ‘Techno Peak Version’ of ‘Inside’ packs a punch as a breezy vocal hook wafts over the granite hard production, resulting in a monster big room banger!  In its ‘Melodic Techno Version’, the FOLUAL team opt for a more subtle tone, fashioning a smooth and refined melodic trance gem, radiant with shimmering keys and hypnotic characteristics.

The recording sounds like its a little blown out but, the full recording is not that way at all. This will be part of a GreySun Records -Sian Ka'an future release. "13" is a temporary title.

Italian duo Armonica has been a project we've discovered a long time ago, so working with the full release with guys is our pleasure and honour.
Their significant productions with Connected Frontline, Stil Vor Talent and Multinotes, as well as the recent remix, done with MoBlack for the legend of afro-beat Fela Kuti, released with Defected, have become the main reasons to love guys' sound.
The main title 'Slave' is powerful and effective banger edging between the melodic influence of laidback Indie Dance vibes and the acid sounds.
We are happy to have Dutch producer Patrice Baumel taking his hands on the remix of 'Slave': going more underground with powerful low-ends work, catchy melodies and the enveloping breakdown, Patrice's version is the undoubted proper floor-worker.
The third 'Ratio' has a profound ground: major synth spots and the melodic elements are unified into the properly performed track.
