After last years „4 THA CULTURE“ and his collaboration with horsegiirL „My Little White Pony“ MCR-T releases his debut album „My Voice My Weapon Of Choice“.
My Voice My Weapon Of Choice weaponises MCR-T´s fierce Soul Power on the mic. This album being more personal than usual, MCR-T does not shy away from giving his listeners insights to his inner demons and personal battles over the course of making this release. Tracks that all tell deep and personal stories while staying true to their club functional nature.
MCR-T pays homage to Grace Jones' opening statement on her record “This Is”. Realizing that the liberation of self starts with the paper and pen, the means to an end - therapeutic self expression.
Bold statements backed by even bolder sounding rracks all across the electronic music spectrum to underline not only his versatility on the dancefloor but also in the studio. Different flavors for the deserving multifaceted raver of tomorrow.

DJ Gigola is a shape shifter and she comes in many forms and colours. Since her debut EP “Tender Trance” with Kev Koko, she has worked in a variety of collaborative efforts blurring boundaries between Techno and Pop music. For her first ever solo EP, DJ Gigola moves away from ethereal vocals to portraying her own signature club sound in an exploration focussed on rhythm and groove structures. Drawing from a multi-facetted palette of musical genres, DJ Gigola’s productions recontextualize references to rave culture into a refreshingly breezy high energy feel. Think crunchy baselines, frivolous melodies and euphoric breakdowns layered with complex percussive structures and catchy vocals. In combining her passion of being a front-row dancer with her experience as a performer, DJ Gigola weaves together a three-track EP that follows a simple thread: get everyone in the mood to dance.
The EP and its title track are aptly named “In the Mood”, with the single set to be released on the 14th of July. The EP itself will be available from 09.09.2022 in both digital and physical formats.

3 years ago MCR-T kickstarted Live From Earth Klub with his and the label’s first ever techno release  “KRAFT” LFEK001. Almost 3 years later we are proud to announce MCR-T’s second vinyl release and Live From Earth Klub‘s 11th installment “4 THA CULUTURE”.

Since the earliest days of raves, techno and rap did not only coexist but were fundamentally intertwined. The contemporary techno / electronic music image has long ridden itself of its hip hop MCing component rendering the combination of both as being virtually extinct. All-terrain vehicle MCR-T aims to restore the long forgotten craft of MCing over techno / gabber / electro beats not only on the dancefloor but also for your recreational pleasure. Combining forces with Australia’s own legendary Partiboi69 has only made this EP an even spicier force to be reckoned with.

The sonic character of this body of music spans from 90’s piano stab infused big room techno anthems to contemporary ghetto tech, electro, and gabber interpretations combining the soul power of voice with the menacing power of bass.

“4 THA CULTURE” EP pays homage to all the OGs of electronic music, to all the ravers on and off the dancefloor, to all the promoters, the labels and clubs, the tastemakers, the recordshops.

This ain’t just for y’all.
