"Give Me Your Love" is a joyful track that I've always loved, evoking a celebratory mood in the true spirit of disco even though it was released well after the primary disco movement of the late 1970s. Originally performed by the Italian group Fun Fun, this song is a quintessential piece of Italo disco—a genre that emerged in the early 80s, characterised by its electronic instrumentation and vibrant energy. I vividly recall sitting in front of a record player, captivated by the jubilant spirit of the vocals and the infectious rhythm, listening to it over and over again when it was originally released.
In reimagining "Give Me Your Love" for "The Afterlife," I sought to bridge the past and present, infusing the track with modern production techniques while honouring its roots. This song has taken longer to produce than any other on the album, reflecting the intricate process of capturing its essence and transforming it into something new.
The production journey for "Give Me Your Love" has been akin to navigating a creative maze, filled with unexpected turns and moments of inspiration. At times, it has felt like sculpting a gigantic piece of marble, requiring infinite patience and a willingness to delve into the details. Ultimately, "Give Me Your Love" is not just a song; it's a dialogue between the jubilant past of disco and the boundless possibilities of the present, inviting listeners to experience the freedom and joy that disco can bring.

"Born in Portugal, Goncalo M started his DJ career at the early age of 19 after being strongly influenced by electronic music at that time.
Since then Goncalo has built up an admirable reputation after playing in venues and Festivals all over Europe, South America and Asia.
His sets have been described as electric and energetic, his style is dynamic, full of percussion and he keeps things very groovy and hard.
Watch him play and you’ll see he applies all his passion for music, from the first moment he steps behind the decks right through to the end.
In 2002 he started his career in production after seeing 4 of his tracks released on a compilation CD included with Portuguese Dance Magazine ‘Dance Club’.
Driven to put more into the Techno scene, in 2004 Goncalo started his won Techno label “Intuition Recordings Pt”, in 2013 he founded a new label called “Global Techno Movement Records, both labels has held top spots in the Techno charts releasing quality Techno music.
Recently Goncalo has had releases on the world’s premier Techno labels."
