“I wrote ‘Your Love’, like my other tracks, late at night. I was just thinking about how my wife always loves me, even through the times that were tough.
We've been together for 14yrs so you learn a thing or two from each other. Even now, her love and support for what I'm trying to do with my music is huge. The lyrics are really about her constantly being there for me, even when I sometimes feel my music isn't the best. She always gives me the confidence to keep following my dreams and tells me that's the point of music: you have to be you. I think without her support, I might have given up but she really takes me higher with her light in the love she shows me every day.”

DJ G-String released her latest single called "Always" on October 23rd. On Nov 13th she releases a Greek version of her song called "Always". It is a song about really having a soulmate… if you believe in that. Always tells a story about two people that will always love each other and who will always be there. DJ G-String writes her music about her moments in life and plays music based on how she feels at that moment in time. Her sets are usually never rehearsed, and she likes DJing on the fly. She also is very old school when it comes to mixing. This rare gem does everything manually and loves the art of chance in mixing. She feels that it is the most authentic you can be as being flawless isn’t her focus.

Ain't Nobody remix is about knowing what you want in your love life. The remix of this was a fun project. I loved working with P5YCHOH on this project. We wanted a banger driven track that brings the energy high and low.

She is known as the one that makes the crowd dance with her selective dance music style. She creates an atmosphere where the music feels like it keeps evolving and becomes alive. She has been able to loop, sample, live mashups, and always beat matching manually on the fly.

DJ G-String was young and began recording cassette tapes of songs on the radio and matching the beats. At the young age of 14, she was fascinated with mixing music and decided to dedicate her time and money to learning the skill. By the time G-String turned 18, she bought some turntables and before long, her skills grew and she started to spin house parties, weddings, and school functions. Only one year later, she was hired at a nightclub in Chicago. She later was exposed to other booking agencies and nightclub vendors. She became a resident DJ at several nightclubs and guest DJs at other hot spots in Chicago. She has had the privilege of DJing with some of the top DJs in the country.

With over 20 years of experience as a Club DJ and a musician, her signature style of mixes, own dance tracks, and mashups is what makes her feel alive. She spreads that feeling alive in each set she performs keeping the crowd going and demanding more. DJ G-String released 5 original songs in 2020 and in 2021 she is releasing over 20 tracks that includes remixes and a few collabs + originals.
