David Armin-Parcells aka D.A-P aka Guy Lafleur – Originally from Montreal, grew up in Toronto and moved to Detroit in 1993. David got his start DJ’ing in 1982 (when he used a reel to reel and a cassette deck!) and he’s been a selector ever since. He has releases out on Blank artists as well as Exchange Bureau, and is gaining recognition for his exclusive edits. His sets can range from funky disco to deep house to slowmo tech house. He is also ½ of the legendary weekly turned monthly Hot Pot dance party in Detroit. David is a firm believer in not programming sets but rather to play what feels right at the moment. He has opened for such legendary performers as Theo Parrish, Carl Craig, Stacey Pullen, Rick Wilhite, Paul Woolford, Agoria, Benji B, Recloose and many more
