Born in Tokyo, raised in Tanzania and England, Shing02 came up in the independent SF Bay Area scene in the early '90s. Over the course of his independent career starting in 1995, he has collaborated with various musicians, most notably with the late Japanese producer Nujabes. Recently, he has released Japanese project "246911" with SPIN MASTER A-1, and English album "Triumphant" with producer Jack The Rip.

도쿄에서 태어나 탄자니아와 영국에서 자란 Shing02는 90년대 초반 독립 샌프랜시스코 Bay Area에서 활동을 하였습니다. 1995년부터 독립 활동을 시작한 그는 다양한 음악가들과 협력해 왔으며, 특히 일본의 프로듀서인 고(故) 누자베스(Nujabes)와 협업을 하였습니다. 최근에는 SPIN MASTER A-1과 함께한 일본 프로젝트 '246911', 프로듀서 잭 더 립(Jack The Rip)과 함께한 영어 앨범 'Triumphant'를 발매했습니다.

SPIN MASTER A-1 continues to push musical boundaries with a unique fusion of hip hop turntablism and traditional Japanese sounds. In his performances, he transcends the framework of a DJ to become a live-performance artist, displaying his worldview on the turntables and mixer / drum machine. As a producer, he releases albums and collaborates across borders and genres. He is also active as a live DJ for Shing02

SPIN MASTER A-1은 힙합 턴테이블리즘과 일본 전통 사운드의 독특한 융합으로 계속해서 음악적 경계를 넓혀가고 있습니다. 그의 퍼포먼스에서는 DJ의 틀을 넘어 라이브 퍼포먼스 아티스트로 거듭나며 턴테이블과 믹서/드럼 머신에 대한 자신의 세계관을 보여주고 있습니다. 프로듀서로서 그는 앨범을 발매하고 국경과 장르를 넘나들며 협업하고 있습니다.
