Havun Havun (Havoun Havoun), est une chanson liturgique arménienne que Grégoire de Narek (Grigor Narekatsi) a composé il y a plus de mille ans, en héritage à la tradition musicale arménienne.

Normalement, il est chanté, c'est un hymne à la Résurrection.
Voici ici ma version électro-instrumental à l'occasion de la 106ème commémoration du génocide commis contre les Arméniens, mais aussi à la mémoire des soldats Arméniens  tombés sous l'agression azerbaïdjanaise en septembre 2020. 

Un message pour rappeler que malgré toutes les injustices subies, ceux qui sont tombés restent vivants dans nos cœurs et les opprimés renaitront de leur cendres...RESURRECTION!

My track's vocals are from Gauhar Jaan born Angelina Yeoward, 26 June 1873 – 17 January 1930, was an Indian singer and dancer from Calcutta. 
She was one of the first performers to record music on 78 rpm records in Indi. Having recorded more than 600 records in more than ten languages between 1902 and 1920, Gauhar Jahan is credited with popularising Hindustani classical music such as thumri, dadra, kajri, tarana during the period.

Of Armenian descent, her father, William Robert Yeoward, worked as an engineer in a dry ice factory, and married her mother, Victoria Hemmings, in 1872. Victoria, an Indian by birth, had been trained in music and dance.
