Closely following the release of the last Borderland single, the focus returns on Transport, the last collaborative album by Juan Atkins and Moritz von Oswald. 

Long time friend and studio partner of Moritz von Oswald, Carl Craig provides a new take on “Transport”. Extending and stripping the original sequence to its bone, the illustrious Planet E president and illustrious Detroit proponent also summons a stepping drum sequence and a swaying array of moving delays. This 12“ edit is cut on the A-side.

The full version of Carl Craig’s remix clocks just above 20 minutes and is available digitally. Both are available to anyone who purchases the record, through the enclosed download card.

On the flip, DJ Deep & Roman Poncet rework Carl Craig’s remix, adding their signature grooves and myriad of tough drums, to full effect.

Tresor.298 will release on November 3rd on 12” vinyl and digital.

Jaunt celebrates a decade in the game this year, with the British clubbing institution marking the milestone in typically esteemed fashion. 10 Years of Jaunt - Sea, Land, Air is a 12 track V/A compilation spread across three distinct vinyl discs, each of which is based around some of the world's core elements; themselves a mode of transport or a manner to embark on a 'jaunt'. Each featured artist is somebody who the label has forged a connection with at some stage during their ten year journey - and each track has been titled to the artist's own interpretation of a 'jaunt'. Joyce Muniz’ unique transatlantic tastes marry perfectly as she teams up with LA’s club queen, Kim Anh for a new release on Berlin’s Gigolo Records entitled Give Me The Taste.
Joyce Muniz has risen slowly but surely thanks to her tireless pursuit of excellence, savvy studio skills and killer DJ sets which have seen her hold down multiple radio residencies for Vienna’s FM4 and London’s Rinse FM. Remixes for Paul Simon, DJ Hell and Claptone, alongside collaboration projects with Namito, Hannah Holland, and Jazz crooner Louie Austin show Muniz is as multi-talented as she is razor sharp focused with more to come in 2019.

Both Muniz and Kim Anh have worked tirelessly in the underground to find parity and equality for women and the LGBTQ communities. Indeed, Anh is already established as a proficient producer, event curator and businesswoman; remixing Sam Sparro in 2012 and working with House royalty Eli Escobar, Roy Davis Jr, and JT Almon thereafter. This single marks the official beginnings of a fruitful collaborative experience.

Based deep within their shared love of all things classic and house, ‘Give Me The Taste’ remembers a time of endless possibility when finding a spot on the dance floor and grooving til sunrise was the ambition of every young girl completely enamored by House music. Pounding 909 kicks and skippy hats underpin the rubbery bassline which powers this homage to a simpler time forward. Anh provides the dark sexual overtone with her vocals, acidic touches and melodic nuance provide a classy sonic backdrop elevating the track beyond the obvious and into deeper, more refined waters.

Available in full vocal, dub and instrumental versions, ‘Give Me The Taste’ is an example of just how power House music can be.

Accordingly, Hell’s Opus number six has become a classic album: House Music Box simply contains eight gripping new bangers from the groove manufacturer that is the super gigolo Hell. The record is not only a concept album about the beginnings of electronic DJ and club music, but also a danceable history lesson. This is already shown in the superb first single: ‘Out of Control’. A mighty stomping dancefloor monster where a killer bassline and an infectious synth riff meet. A vocal sample rightly demands ‘Don’t stop!’, because the magic that Hell has created with his controllers leaves one in a state of pure ecstasy.
