This month's mix for EC is selection of deep n dubby tech-house and techno tracks. I wanted to create a mix that I would like to go and dance to in a dimly lit basement gig - a room filled with groove, funk and no-nonsense underground house/techno music that makes your hips shake!

the initiatives of hamza howidy and vered berman promote dialogue and empathy in the discourse surrounding the so-called middle east conflict. in times of increasing polarization, their work creates spaces for solidarity-based exchange and the sharing of personal stories.
almost two years after october 7, not only has anti-semitic and racist hatred continued to escalate, but the fronts within the left are also hardening.
while simplified friend-or-foe logic dominates the discourse, there is often a lack of solidarity and visibility for progressive movements on the ground. the panel talk focuses on emancipatory movements in the region and future perspectives beyond authoritarian and fascist dystopias.

It has been a big mission, but I got many messages with requests and compliments still months after this set. So here we goooo: I finally managed to get the audio file from my DJ set at Feel Festival from Hohe Düne Saturday night 0-2h.

It was such an intense energy, and time flew by too fast. I got goosebumps, and those who were they knew that closing moment was something special. 

So happy to have shared the time with my @curaberlin fam. Each artist played such sharp set before and after. Normally, I don’t stay so long post-set, but the music and vibe were just too good. I stayed until the stage closed. Ups, not Sorry.

The individual look, the do-it-yourself approach, the elitism. That's how it grew.
